umm i'm not a fighter. i never fought in my life, so as far as i know i cant fight for crap. i'm doomed if someone like you guys ever want to pick a fight with me. i would just curl up in a ball. then probably get thrown into a lake or something...maybe one of you guys could give me some pointers lol

Pathetic.... Sounds to me as if your giving up without so much as a struggle there. All living things are born instinctively with the ability to fight and defend themselves. The only time you can't fight back is when you choose not to, and those people are pathetic...

it takes a pathetic person to know a pathetic person, lol

That my dear is useless insult slinging. I see no basis or foundation for that. Anyone can see a pathetic person, for everyone is pathetic in some way. However, that should not stop you from striving to correct those pathetic qualities. The true pathetic ones are those who give up on changing them... So tell me, why am I pathetic?

oh that wasnt an insult sweetums. just a different saying for what you said. and curling up in a ball, isnt nessesarily giving up. its still a form of protection, for i'm sheilding sensitive areas. giving up would just be standing there allowing them to beat on you everywhere. and about the whole "All living things are born instinctively with the ability to fight", me curling up in a ball is still a form of fighting persay. the emphisize what i meant by not being a fighter, i'm not a hand-to-hand combat fighter because i don't know how. if i were to try to do something i know i'm not very good in, that will leave more openings for injuries and will get my a** kicked. so i will do what i know how to do which will give me more of a chance surviving.
aka, curling up in a ball or better yet, running.. until i know how to 'properly' fight.
and its obvious you didnt read all of my first post, which is why i didnt bother to explain last time i responded. i'm not giving up.

from what i seen so far, you're pathetic because you were so quick to jump on me and assume a bunch of bull without thuroughly reading my first post. which is probably becuz you're constantly aware of your flaws and try to make yourself feel better by acting like an ignorant-know it all. =3

I beg to differ though. Curling up in a ball is giving up. Backing down into such a defensive posture as that is nothing more than giving up. Fighting is fighting. Fighting is offensive. You may not know how to fight hand-to-hand but you know how to fight for your life. Those who fall to the defensive, those who curl up to protect themselves, and those who run to save themselves have no value in my eyes. The strong are those who deserve to survive. If you can't keep yourself alive, then learn. Asking people to explain to you how to do so will get you no where. Get out and practice. Build your strength and speed. Watch actual and even fake fights and memorize their movements then put them to practice. So, in response, I did read your entire post and as I've said, I know I'm pathetic. Don't forget to read my posts. I said we are all pathetic. And yes I am constantly aware of my flaws, but I do not jump on others to make myself feel better with an ignorant-know-it-all attitude. I jump on others so as to, in my own unique way, encourage them to better themselves. I hope this has been enlightening little one.

Now now Daze. You are pushing your little debate dangerously close to crossing that line and into the territory of an argument. I'd suggest you reign it in a bit. Just because you don't recognize defensive maneuvers as fighting doesn't mean they aren't fighting. Try to keep that in mind. Though I do have to say, as a pointer to Akeme, curling into a ball might not be your best choice. Running probably would be, then if you can't escape, then curl up.

Now, you asked for some pointers. First off I have to ask, what your body is like. Overall height, build, strength, etc.
