Bry nodded,"Alright then." He got up to let them inside holding the curtian up for both of them. It was rather large and had many diffrent caves leading into rooms of sorts. In the middle of all the stone and wooden tables was a misplaced couc that you could almost laugh at because it stuck out so much. He grabbed some canteens full of water. He had bunches of them prepared that he took on long flights. He sat down. Pointing to the couch or various chairs. "Sit where you like."
Mia did smirk a little at Coranna's hint of her drugging her. It must have meant she was forgiving her some. Mia felt really relieved but sad also. Coranna was forgiving her a little too quickly had it been her she would have held a grudge a bit longer. Did she deserve to be forgiven so quickly? She had drugged someone who had helped save her life and escape guards. She remained quiet stuck in her thoughts some.
Bry filled up the space as Mia rested and drank water as she thought about things. "So how did you come by to be with the rebels? Or the loaded question, how is it you came to be able to stand the humans?"

Coranna laughed lightly at the little joke, and plopped herself down on the oddly-placed couch, "Honestly, I still can't stand them very much. All depends on who they are. And if you are talking about the rebels as in the group, I guess I was involved as soon as I saw Mia trying to spring some rebels and decided to help. If you're talking about just myself, then I can't think of a time when I wasn't a rebel, though I've been more rebellious as of lately." What she meant by who they are, is if she could gain anything from them. If not, she won't give a care for them. But if so, then she'll follow them until whatever she wants is obtained, she'll even forgive them for betrayal.

Bry nodded,"Sometimes I can't stand them either." Bry smiled at Coranna always being a rebel. "Glad you helped them out I don't think it would be as much fun without Mia and Nya stirring up the trouble they do. She is okay even for a cat person. Me myself joined out of accident really. My wing got clipped I came here for healing so I could rejoin my clan. They were nice and all here but humans irratated me, I guess its bred in. When I returned a week later though the Tengu kicked me out for being weak. So I came back to what I knew. I learned some tolerance over the years. Hence the stairs being added even if they are torturous." He smiled. "I thought of going out on my own but I don't like being too lonely either. The younger Tengu were born here have a large tolerance for everyone, they still talk like tengu though.... I wonder how long that will last." He said kind of bitterly.
Mia stayed quiet she knew Bry's views on wanting Tengu to stay the way they were. Coexisting was fine to him for survival, he didn't like the change he was seeing though. Her fox tail swayed annoyed a bit. Her ear stayed perked up though as she wasn't bothered to much and they ahd already been in many debates about this so there was no point in joining in.
Bry continued,"Did you grow up in a tribe of your own?"

A smile crept along Coranna's face as she noticed the bitterness in Bry's voice, "There are true Tengu, and then are the others. As for me, I left my roost soon after I was able to fly. Out of curiosity more than anything, though I dived straight into a world of humans, like that's gotten me anything good." Her feathers ruffled in annoyance as she reminded herself of her delivery job.

Bry noticed her annoyance,"I'm sorry if I brought up bad memories you don't have to tell me anything just simple curiousity of wanting to know who you are." He ruffled his feathers. "Am I the first Tengu you've met here?"
Mia just gave a small nod, to his question.
Bry smirked,"Thats why I like you Mia you've got a good brain. I'm glad you didn't try to warm her up to those other Tengu they are quite polite and all but they don't see how everything is they only feel the joy of flying and the love of this town. But you can formulate your own opinion. I can't dislike them they just annoy me from time to time." He stretched out some and relaxed some more. "I do odd jobs which is why I so close to town. Last week I had to go find a new source of water higherer up. What did you do for the humans may I ask?"

"Delivered royal letters and documents between cities and provinces." She stated clearly, hoping that he wouldn't probe any further. It would be difficult to explain much else without carefully choosing her words. She tried to distract him from the topic, "So how many other Tengu are around here? I haven't seen too many."

Bry smiled,"Well there are two couples with two children each, me, and another. The younger ones come to town more often but I could see why you probably haven't seen them. Your on the wrong side of town they are on the other mountian range and beyound that is the true Tengu territory." He would know considering he would go there for woman from time to time.... they would fly away with him for awhile and the Tengu tribes wouldn't know the diffrence. The other woman Tengu here though led to no intrest to Bry. She was old and not only old but mean. He suspected that why she came here. Because the tribe she was in probably couldn't even handle her. "Stay clear of the very top of the east mountian thats where the old lady lives and flies sometimes. You don't want to run into her." Bry frowned for a moment as he looked at Mia who was unnatrually quiet in his opinion. He looked at Coranna another moment contemplating. "Mia?"
"Hmmm..?" She looked up from her glas at him.
"What did you do? You befriend a tengu on your journeys and you would think anyone would think bringing her to the couples would be best because it would benift you the most in her joining your little resistance. Yet...you bring her to me when you know you'll get nothing out of it. So what did you do to her that made you feel guilty?" Bry questioned.
Mia stayed silent a moment. "Really Bry its none of your business. You out of all Tengu have the least to complain about. The other tengu have it right, you just need to learn tolerance. Everyone else has. I thought maybe Coranna could talk some sense into your thick skull."
Bry didn't falter. "You hurt her wing it looks slightly wounded..."
"You think she would travel with me if I hurt her wing?" Mia said her ears back and her tail flicking back and forth like she was ready to pounce.
"What then?"
Mia gave a growl of fustration,"She is right here you know maybe you should ask her yourself." Mia looked at Coranna.
Bry looked at Mia for a moment like he was going to strangle her. Instead he turned his attention to Coranna. "What did she do to you that she feels guilty about?"

Coranna opened her mouth to talk, but nothing came out. Her eyes flashed frantically back and forth between Bry and Mia. She was defiantly in a tough situation. If she told Bry that Mia had drugged her then he'd of course ask why, and that would lead to her keeping her mouth shut for the hundredth time. But if she didn't then Bry might catch on to he lie, as he seemed to be very good at, and Mia would probably think the drug had also made her go a little loopy cause she just saved her hide.
Shutting her mouth, she decided to start again, "I'm not sure, she shouldn't feel guilty about anything. She's done what she should and what she can. I wouldn't have done any differently." She gave Mia a statue-like gaze. Her words were forgiving, but also threatening, saying that she would have also drugged Mia under the same circumstances. Turning back to Bry, she flashed the most innocent smile she could, "Only thing I can think of her feeling bad for is not knowing how to repair a damaged wing and having me wait till we got to Xia Pi to fix it." She turned her head back to Mia with a playful smile, "And honestly, you shouldn't worry about it."

Mia smiled,"I'll try to stop worrying." She looked at Bry and smiled,"Bry maybe we should get going..."
Bry shuffled his wings in discomfort of being wrong. "No its not necessary, I like the company." His feathers were ruffled from being wrong. "Sorry for snapping Mia."
Mia waved it off. "Its fine."
Bry smoothed his feathers down for a moment and they stayed there like he had just groomed all over again. "I'm sorry for the misunderstanding...." He said to Coranna sincerly. "Would you like to go flying now? We can visit the other tengu if you like."
Mia looked down at her clothes and skin they were covered in dirt. "We haven't bathed really since we got here.... we just crashed after being healed. Maybe the bath houses?" Mia knew the bathhouses were by the resistances place. She could have taken her to the twon one. But Mia knew Coranna saved her a little bit from Bry. Even if some of it was beneficial to herself. Mia had to trust her either way sooner or later.

"Don't worry about it, and I wouldn't mind going to the bath houses either. I probably don't look halfway presentable. Is it a good fly away?" She questioned while she looked down at herself. A few of her feathers were disorderly, and she didn't want to even think of what state her hair was in.

Bry nodded,"Quite close actually."
"Take her to the best bath houses not the village ones. I'll be there with Nya in a while."
Bry raised an eyebrow. "Then it is a nice flight. But we will ahve to land to get in them some of it is underground."

Coranna followed close behind, and a bit off to the side. The bandages on her wing were holding up well enough that she didn't have to struggle to fly. "This is a nice speed, I wouldn't want to go any fast, I don't know if my bandages could handle it." Her eyes surveyed the land below her as she flew, trying to note landmarks in case she ever came back to the area. "Will do," she commented on the bath houses, "And be prepared, I'll probably last less than 5 minutes. Either that or I'll just stand there completely dumbfounded." It was true though, she could already imagine herself standing in the middle of a rocky tunnel with her mouth hung open staring like a idiot and the ceiling.

Bry chuckled. "Its fine everyone's frst time is usually scary. Do you still want to try anyways? Its helps to just think your in a house and knowing where all the exits help as well. It really doens't hit you until you miss sight of the exit and the natrual light."
