Well, a Vibro-Blade is essentially a blade that vibrates at sonic speeds, allowing it to cut through nearly anything.

I really can't think of much beyond giving it damage + penetrating.
Perhaps take the feat improved critical and choose the power "Device (Vibro Blade)" so you crit with it more often.

I haven't used nullify before but I want to link a nullify effect to my concealment to try and disrupt super senses with counter concealment. Do I make it like this?

Improved concealment
-Rank: 3
-Cost: 3pp per rank (9pp)
-Build: Nullify (Sensory) + Area + Duration
-Action: Standard (Active)
-Range: Ranged
-Saving Throw: Will
-Duration: Concentration
-Description: The next level of Eclipse's Concealment allows it to often hide from the senses of even those tha could normally counter it's concealment effect.

Basically I'm going for countering super senses with counter concealment. Not sure what type of area or duration would fit either.

It would "kinda" work, note that when you used the nullify everyone would know where you where so you'd have one round (since you can't activate and then de-activate the same power in a round) where concealment was down (that is if you came in concealed, nullfied, and then had to re-activate next round).

Other than that, you could nullify sensory effects fairly easily (note someone simply applying innate however could counter that and then you'd be pretty much s**t outta luck)

Gah, I forgot about that. I guess I'll just go with hide in plain sight and maxing my stealth skill for now.

I am not sure on the Progression cost, or if I even have this right on all of them?

I can't figure out if 'Alternate Save (Fortitude)' would be the +0 or +1 modifier,
Also don't know what the Limited thing would be?

One recurring thing I am finding interesting is that you have alternate save for Fort on a mind affecting power. I myself don't see how it makes sense but I'm sure if you picked it you have an idea. The only big issue with that is you have it set to limited machines and electronics which I believe are considered constructs at least I know machines are in which case all constructs are immune to fortitude saves making that power useless. Other than that Mind Control and Mind Reading are fine. The only issue with Minions is the progression cap which I already mentioned

Hey, can a snare be on aura?
I'm trying to make a minion that emanates ice, so that when an opponent attacks it with melee or it attacks them, it ensnares them with ice

if that doesnt fly, then what about on grapple (in which case would that eliminate either the attack roll or reflex roll?)

Almost anything with a touch range and sustained duration can be made into an aura. If the range and duration are not those simply apply the range and duration flaws or extras to get them to the appropriate point.
There is not "triggered on grapple" rather you can either take improved grab for touch based powers or put it on said power as a power feat.

Second page, second post of this thread was the first power using that build design, i made after talking it over with Bunny,

His idea for me to make a Mind control power for Lori too now that i think back to that time, he was the one who told me about Alt save being needed and said to go with Fort, in fact he built the base for the power as well

I just added was the Subtle and Linked it to part of my already in place power, but that was just on the spot, late night, rambles and something kind of interesting at the time talk, it happened after a talk about the guild picture at the time

And as to why i put 'Machines - Electronics'
I wasn't sure if Electronics was a category all on its own, as you see in the old power build it says 'Machines, Sub section Electronics'

I know about the Progression thing, it say 3 because i don't plan on building it until i hit PL3

can an array container be used for switching out device powers?

for instance lets say you had power suit and you wanted a melee attack and ranged attack forms.

Could you make an array with one setting with super strength and melee attacks for close quarters situations, and another setting with camouflage and ranged attacks for sniping or other long distance battles

EDIT:
After alot of thinking and review, I'm finding that my idea is growing extremely complex. What I find is tho logically have a Device Container inside the Array Container, the Array Container would have to be inside a Device Container in order to be "stealable" Otherwise, I figure, an enemy could knock you out, and take only 'half' of your device (because the other half is hidden within the array).

Additionally, from what I can figure, you would have a Device within a Device (which I assume is illegal because you'd have a pool with an even deeper pool beneath (not even including the Array Pool)) So, to avoid this entire nest doll effect, I looked into alt. Forms. Although i couldn't find the page myself, i learned by example from Wolf's alt forms.

From what I can tell, its like a minion right, except you replace it with yourself. I take it forms have the same PL restrictions as minions, right? 15 points per Form Power Level, and (i think) the Total Form PL total is the same as your original PL, right?

Also, does having an alt form(s) affect having minions?

Okay for Inuvash here first.
Shapeshift provides new forms.
A shapeshift power allows for a pool of 5pp x your shapeshift rank to apply to forms and like minions you have a number of forms = to 1 for the initial power then more depending on applications of the progression power feat to shapeshift.
Each form is very different from minions. The form has "all of your former powers" on your main character, you may then add 5pp x the rank (ie spending the shapeshift pool) to enhance your new form.
You may even, if you wish, take away powers from your main form to provide new pp for the new form (such as shedding a chitinous shell you normally have in your main form to provide lightness an thus pay for a flight power).
Similarly you can lower stats as you can normally during character creation, but on said form, to provide more pp to spend on said form.

As for minions, no, it does not effect minions.
The "only" similarity minions and shapeshift have are the post layout and the number you get being dependent on progression.

--------------------------

A short while after array came out I made a small edit.
You can have array and device working together though not multiple times (aka a device can't have it's pool spent on device again nor can array have an array as one of it's settings).
In fact, array may only be placed "into" a device and even then it may only be placed once.

Basically you'd use device to pay for an "array" of powers, alt settings on the device essentially.

As for the mind control power you mentioned Come Play, I don't ever remember saying it should be fort, since fort just plain wouldn't effect constructs (well at least most, a badly built construct doesn't buy immunity fort) and most definitely wouldn't effect devices like power suits or other such objects since they only have tough saves.

Sweet.
Ok, that makes sense
New questions

1. the only flaw/drawback for shapeshift is limited. Can you have a duration x2 flaw so it takes a full action to transform?

2. On changing stats: does the bonus add up or is just the highest one? Like if you normally have 14 str, and your new form as 16 str, do you get just 16, or do you get 20 (14 + 6)

3. if you drop powers form your main form, how would you list that?

2. On changing stats: does the bonus add up or is just the highest one? Like if you normally have 14 str, and your new form as 16 str, do you get just 16, or do you get 20 (14 + 6)

3. if you drop powers form your main form, how would you list that?

1. Of course, remember the flaws beneath a power are just "suggested" flaws, just like the extra's are "suggested" extra's, they are not by any means the only extras or flaws that may be applied. (same goes with drawbacks and power-feats).
The reason they're not all listed is that it would take a ton of space on every power if we did. It's just simpler to include only a few to give people an idea of what they can do.

2. If your original character has 14 strength you can spend 2pp from your shapeshift pool to make it 16. If you spent 6, then yes you'd have 20pp.
Remember your not making a new character, rather your modifiying your existing character.
The beauty of it is that you can take away stat points as well to add to that pool, such as say lowering your wisdom in your new form by 2 less than it normally is and as such adding 2pp to the shapeshift pool to spend elsewhere in said form.
Now this may seem like "why doesn't everyone have it if it just strengthens your character"? Well simple, for 1 it's an rp tool, and second the shapeshift often costs more pp per rank than what your gaining with the form, the only real advantage being that you can gain multiple forms OR more flexibility by making forms that may be weaker in some areas than you normally are to give pp in said form to make you stronger in other area's (meaning if a situation pops up where you might not need say a high will save but will need a high tough save, you might have a form that fits those needs.).

3. In your powers section, you would simply make a quote box listing the names of the powers you lost.
Just be sure to give said box a bold centered title so it stands out.

I need help with making an aura relating to poison or acid. I understand how aura itself works but the extra "Secondary" confuses me. Is that like a linked effect or does that mean the same effect is triggered the next turn.

Example: Fatigue aura w/ secondary extra. Does that mean the victim must save against fatigue the round touched and the following round?

Or would it be more like

Fatigue aura w/ secondary extra (damage) where they save against fatigue this round and damage next?

I think from reading it's the first but want to confirm that before I workout the baseline.
