Faust smiled lightly,
"Thanks Minori, I appreciate your help." He replied, glad to have someone to talk to."Yeah, I don't like anyone really getting hurt. Maybe I just have a bad temper." He added, throwing in a slight chuckle.
"Yeah, they probably won't." He replied lightly. "Still, doesn't hurt to try. Thanks Minori. You're a good friend." He added, going back to his ramen.

"You too," Minori smiled slightly in return. She really wished that she could have helped more but she went back to her ramen as well.
"Oh, the salt! I'm sorry sir!" Going into a frenzy of sorts, Minori jumped up and searched in desperation for her wallet. She soon found it and all she had in it was enough to cover three bowls of ramen and a really cheap salt shaker. "I'm sorry here's the money for the salt shaker. Faust, I'll buy one of your bowls. It might make today better for you." She plopped her money down onto the counter and sighed.

Faust's smile dropped a little, then took her money and returned it to her.
"I appreciate the thought, but No thanks Minori. If anything, I'll pay for my ramen and the salt shaker." He said, pulling out his wallet, and laying money on the table. "I'm Paying for yours too, It's my way of saying sorry for getting you involved in earlier." he replied, then smiling lightly.
"and I won't take no for an awnser. I'm paying for it and that's that. You told me to stand up for my ideas, and I'm starting now. He added in a slightly cocky tone, smiling cheerily.

Minori's jaw dropped. "Huh? N-No, I'll at least pay for my own ramen and the shaker." She pouted at the thought of doing extra odd jobs as a way to get her change back. Looking at Faust's face, she could tell that he was serious. Pouting even more, she accepted her defeat.
"Ugh, OK. But only if you're sure. And getting involved is no problem for me, we're friends so I will even if you don't want me to."
She worked hard for another moment to hold her serious expression before giving up. A broad smile broke out across her face. "I owe you one, OK? That's awesome."

Faust smiled.
"No problem Minori, That's what friends are for." He replied, even happier than before. "So, any idea where you'd like to go after this?" He asked her in a polite tone.

"Well, how about someplace that doesn't cost anything." She didn't think that she could afford half of a ticket to anywhere.
"The park, the store to browse, the library..." She began to list off free locations with enthusiasm. Looking at him she said," You decide. I don't really have any preference, but I don't really want to make you pay again..."
She smiled, glad that the negative events had been put aside for the moment.

"Oh, How about the store? I need to get some new headphones and batteries." He called out almost as soon as she mentioned it.
He then blushed slightly. "Uh, I mean...let's go to the store." He replied more sheepishly. He was very shy about what music he listened to, and by bringing up headphones, he was bound to get that question. He turned to the ramen shop owner.
"Thank you for the ramen, it was good" He said, bowing deeply.
"Glad you enjoyed it" the ramen shop owner replied with a smile.

"Ok! The store it is." Minori replied cheerfully, she then turned and thanked the shop owner as well.
"Music, that sounds great. New headphones? Did something happen to your old ones? Or are you just looking for an upgrade?" She shook her head, annoyed at herself for asking so many questions." Anyway, off we go. Let's get some headphones."

"Yeah, my old headphones are crap, and I need to get new ones. Plus, my Mp3's batteries are dead. Which is why I'm not wearing my headphones right now. " He explained, as they left the ramen shop, and headed into town.
"Hey, do you think that an Mp3'd work in the other world? He asked her.

"If our cell phones work well enough, why not Mp3 players?" Minori said thoughtfully. She spun around for a second while thinking. "We obviously can't call anyone in the real world from there, but what about each other? Do you think that our phones could be used to contact each other while we're all in the other world?"

"Hmm, maybe...." Faust added, unsure of the awnser. He was pretty Electronic-inclined, He barely knew how to use his phone. Faust thought about that idea, then pushed it aside.
"We'll have to try that next time." He added.

"Yeah, we should do that..." Minori trailed off as they neared the store. It was still a way to walk, but it had come into their sights. The electronics store was a plain, fairly new building of a moderate size. Its outside walls were a faded beige color and the blinking neon sign outside of it was an odd green.
"Hmm, that place matches the rest this town." She said with a half-hearted smile.

"This town's, not very exciting, is it? Nothing like the other world." he added in a low tone so only Minori could hear him.
"Well, shall we go browse?" Faust added turning to Minori.

"Yeah, lets browse," Minori said with a smile.
She sighed a moment later. "The only time that this town might be interesting is at halloween when it looks like we made the town like this on purpose. Deserted ghost town, wonderful."
She went forward and entered the store. Looking at the prices her jaw dropped. "Wow, liking electronics must be expensive."

Faust gave a sideways glance at the price tag.
"I know, that's why I've had the same Mp3 for 4 years." he said. "But yeah, Halloween's the best time of the year around here, it does look spooky." He smiled lightly.
"Hey, what color Headphones should I look for?" He added, unsure of what kind of color to get. I'm Buying one of the older models, wired and huge. the newer ones bug my ears." He added.
