Kyoco smiled at Luna, thanking her for her trust, even though he had a feeling that he was not as kind as she thought he was. Then, the group broke off, walking towards their carriages.
After what happened with the ratmen, Kyoco decided to go to the carriage that was at the back of the other two so he could watch out. In his mind, he was thinking of reasons why he shouldn't trust Zacharias. Nothing came up. That's what he thought. But then, why all the unease? Kyoco just let the thought draw into the back of his mind, and let it wait till the day was over. Then it could start bugging him again. Kyoco jumped into the carriage, and sat on the red-fabric seats, their feel as soft as silk, and then, Kyoco heard the horses nay as they took off to the road in front of them.
