Well, I learned where the terminology "rank and file" comes from.

I am here. and uh sorry about being so busy. sweatdrop I read the lecture though so heres what I learned:
<---------> Rank is the name of the squares that go from left to right
File is the name of the squares that go from top to bottom (or north to south)
when naming a square, you ALWAYS write down the letter in lowercase. for example:
b2 would be here:

Yall I am going to cancel class this week because with all the events and such. These events only come a couple times a year and I want yall to get a chance to enjoy them. Class will most likely resume next week 3nodding
