Kouga is fast and strong, but he gets some of that speed and strength from the jewel shards. He's loyal (like any good wolf should be), but he's also very stubborn. He'd protect someone he cares about with his own life, but what do you do if he does die? (Answer: Cry like hell. The sexy wolf died.) He calls Shippo a squirrel.
Inu Yasha is more strength and his strength is augmented with the Tetsusaiga. He's a loud, obnoxious, bad-tempered bad a**, but deep down he really cares for his friends. He's also very stubborn, and doesn't always think about what effect his actions will have. (Like when he went off to find out if Kikyo was still alive.) He can turn into a full demon on some occasions. He bonks Shippo on the head, which is really funny.
Without any weapons or jewel shards, or any outside influences (like, say, Kagome cheering for one or the other) and both in their normal forms, I'd say... It would be very close. Everything normal, Inu Yasha 'cause he has the Tetsusaiga. Just no weapons, Kouga would kick Inu Yasha's butt. Kagome would keep either of them from killing the other, though.

I say Koga cause Inuyasha can get realy anouying. besides hes always putting kagome 2nd. its very mean.

Koga!!!!! I mean, sure, the whole thing with the jewel shards, but I really don't care! I LOVE Koga!!! heart And yea, Inuyasha is ALWAYS putting Kagome second. He's way more obsessed with Kikyo, and I don't like her. So, KOGA ALL THE WAY!!!!!! Hehe heart

I DO like Koga BUT I like Inuyasha better
