Hmm...here goes...
Free Mars
Humanity has colonized six of the nine planets of the Sol system. The Solar system is at peace. For now. But it hasn't always been that way; after decades of warfare, coups, and civil wars, the Solar system was united under the rule of a single Earth government. After perhaps a decade or two of peace, war broke out again, as the colonies of Jupiter and Saturn struggled for independence. It's a been a few years since the 'Outer Planets Conflict', as it came to be called, was fought. It lasted for a decade and resulted in the formation of the newly independent Jovian League, and the crushing and reconquest of the Saturn colonies. What's left of Saturn is now occupied by a sizable Earth Government military presence. Mercury and Venus are both solidly controlled by Earth, as both are colonies in extremely harsh environments. The Asteroid belt is highly disorganized, with presences from both Earth and Jupiter, as well as independent corporations and independent miners. It's also the home of an unknown (but probably large) number of space pirates.
Mars is one of Earth's most important colonies, being the largest and most heavily populated, as well as having an excellent location; it's the major stop on the way between the inner and outer planets, as well the asteriod belt - pretty much, as stop on the way from anywhere to anywhere else. Aside from trade, it does well in mining and heavy industry, with a very small amount of farming. Most of the millions-strong population is concentrated into a few large, densely-packed cities. But Mars is showing signs of discontent. Taxes are heavy, and greedy corporations conspire with the corrupt government to squeeze money and resources from the colony.
The future of Mars is in your hands.

Land of the colossi
This is of course fantasy base, Any of the mods help would be greatly accepted with any corrections or what not.
In a far of land beyond any known civilization there lay a cursed land. In this land there are giants known as the colossi. The isnt much known about this land only that the colossi hold unimagintive power.....some have come to this land looking for that power only to have died. But soon there well be more, for the work of the colossi have spread to a new generation. This generation is full of the youth, and the knowlegable. But they have no idea what they truly stand up against. As do they also not know that the god dormin watches all there moves and what they are to do. This god is very mysterious and doesnt seem to show his true ideals....

Okay, six months ago I was in an rp that was really cool, and I want to play it again. However, I wanted to gauge interest before making it.
It's a Final Fantasy rp, but please read on! It's different, I promise! It's set in Spira...sort of. After Sin was annihilated and Vegnagun dealt with, it was discovered that Sin actually had something to do with the boundaries of time. Still working that part out. Anyway, each and every Final Fantasy world is falling apart and into one another, and will eventually supernova and destroy everything. Old villains are coming back, but old heroes aren't (still working that part out, too). That is where the new heroes come in. Or should I say old? These heroes are Summons, Aeons, Espers, whatever you want to call them. After time started to fall into apart, their powers started to bleed away. In order to survive, they were forced to merge with a human, which (while leaving them severely weakened) allows them to maintain their power level and eventually (as they become used to their new form) get stronger. It is their job to go from universe to universe using Atomos' remaining power and kill each of the old villains to restore the temporal boundaries and save existance as a whole.
Keep in mind that this is all based on the theory that each Final Fantasy is actually set on the same world but that it is extremely geologically unstable.

That's basically what I have so far. When the Espers (I'll call them that just because I like that better, but each individual person can call their character whatever so long as it's from a game they've been in) fuse with a human, that human ceases to exist, though. It's kind of like...a permanent version of the final digivolving in Digimon season 03 (Tamers, in case you have forgotten), in which the human fuses with the partner and becomes the mind while the digimon is the body. I can't remember the name for it, though, since it's been several years since I saw that series. Multiple characters are encouraged, because there are so many Espers to cover. Any suggestions? Questions I need to address?
I have, by the way, already laid claim to Tritoch, Odin, and Bahamut Zero.

Huh. It might be interesting, but... I don't know; seems like it could easily devolve into a 'blasting-the-s**t-out-of-stuff' contest, which is very briefly fun, then sucks.
I guess it really depends on how it's done. Show us a sample or the outline/what you'd put at the start of your RP?
Oh, and dibs on Cactrot/Sabotender/Cactaur and Tonberry. Maybe Maudlin, too.

Which one's Maudlin? I've forgotten.
Sin is crushed, and Vegnagun annihilated. The age of war has passed, and with it the summoners entirely. But Vegnagun was more than just a hell-spawned beast made mecha. It was forged with a bit of the power of the mighty Aeon Atomos, and with the machina's destruction did time begin to falter. Spira suddenly finds itself falling apart and into ages past. Cities of ancient times are phasing in and out of existance with increasing frequency. Mountains become deserts, oceans become cities. The sun is blocked out for but a moment by a great floating continent, then suddenly that land fades once more. Ancient enemies of the world have been torn from the depths of Hell and let loose to wander the world, both in their own time and in others. Kefka, Sephiroth, X-death, Zeramus, Kuja...all have returned from the grave. The heroes who battled these nightmares made flesh, however, have been left alone in their calm repose. Without heroes, who will rescue the world from its darkest hour? And what of the Aeons? Without the summoners to wield their great energies, how are they to aid the world? The answer comes not long after the world begins to fall apart. Each Aeon, Esper, Summon, whatever they have been called in the past or present, has suddenly appeared unbidden on the surface of the planet. As the temporal barriers fade, so does the ancient magic that holds these unstoppable forces at bay and at the command of a select few. But so with the passing of these energies is the energy of the Summons themselves. In order to survive, they must perform an ancient rite lost in the sands of time to merge with a human and stabilize their power. Without this, they will surely fade into nothing. But, there is more to this than simply a return of the villains of old. Something far more dangerous, to time as a whole. It is now the time for Summons, Espers, Guardian Forces, and Aeons to come together as humans and triumph as heroes for the good of the world. For the good of the worlds. They must triumph, or everything will surely die.
I will, of course, come up with something for the rules that will keep this thing from spiraling into a nuke-fest.

Maudlin is Terra's father.
As for the RP? I'll have to give it a shot.

That kind of thing is usually kind of hard to pull off right. If you do it, then good.
Anyway, if we're talking about video game based RPs, here's a few that I think might be interesting and might want to see.
Septerra Core - I just liked this game, the story, and the art style. World divided into seven layers. Layer one is high tech and advanced (Chosen), layer two live on their trash (junkers), layer three is semi-medieval, layer four is two nations at war (Ankara and Jinam), layer five is a underworld pirate/smuggler/trade hub, layer six is mostly wilderness, and layer seven is just above the Core. One of the major plot points was that when light hits the Core (due to a certain alignment of the layers), the person holding these two divine keys will be granted the power of the Creator.
Lunar - Kickass fantasyish game. The world of Lunar orbits a lifeless planet called the Blue Star. A goddess and four dragons, with the champion "The Dragonmaster" protects the people. Takes a while to describe right.
Arc The Lad - Very, very, kickass game. I'm not sure if I like II or III best. Ugh...again, takes a while to describe right, and I'm getting tired. It was a fun game series, though.
Mortal Kombat - If you're going to do a nukefest game, do Mortal Kombat; the king of all nukefests. xd
Bleh, sorry, I'm really tired right now. I'll describe them in more detail later.

Terra's father is Maduin, not Maudlin. I think Maudlin is an Esper, though. That name does sound familiar.
Holy crap! Someone else who's actually heard of Septerra core! That's never happened before!

Well, pretty much any RP has to be done right xd , but...I don't know if it's easier or harder to do it with a preexisting medium. I might...I'm not sure if I really want to make a video game based one.

I would like to see a RPG which is based on "Bladerunner/Underworld/Blade". A good old Gothic story-line in the future with maybe a touch of Shadow Run for some tech. Everybody would be Human, Lycan(werewolf), Vampire, all the main races could be altered to give it some flavor but keep it in control. NO ANGELS,NO DEMONS?DEVILS, NOR ANY OFF SPRING OF THEM.....seen to many RPGs go way out of control and have MEGA-POWER characters that can nuke half the city.
Also if the 3 species of humanity are at war it means at war.... that means KILL the enemy. Romance is ok ....even a tragic one but it means they become hunted by everybody
Get back to me if you have any ideas or comments

Only one person is interested in my rp? I'm hurt. It's such a cool idea, too, and it requires an extensive character base to work.
