Dont think I dont know how. Large open fields make it easy for starters." Selene stated, raising an eyebrow.

"What are you, the angelic guardian who wont buzz off? Know what you will from my past. But I garuntee you from here on out I wont only be difficult, but I'll learn from you, and use it against you. Born a princess or not, I intend to receive my freedom. And if that freedom requires doing things my father, and you, dont approve of, so be it. Consider that your warning Shadow. Dont push me to do things that are truly bad. Who I speak to does not mean I'm betraying anyone. I'd never do that to my father, but if you push me I'll join them on the other side. Consider that, Shadow. How will you watch me then hmmm?" Selene snapped at him, not approving that her life was basically an open book to this shadow.

"How can a bird accept being bound to a cage that hangs in a tree outside? I cannot accept being a prisoner behind my own walls. Its like you said, on either side my lifes in danger. With you there or not, so give me one good reason why I should care to accept your job? I'm not like any of my siblings. I want freedom. And above anything I'm working towards it more than anyone else with my ways of doing things. So do tell me, why is it that I should accept you always being there when I look over my shoulder, in my room, when I visit the springs, when I practice my skills?" Selene asked, the only visible light on her being the moon and the stars.

"Your heroic speech would make one of my sisters swoon. Me on the other hand, I dont like it. I would never plead for my own life, I believe that if I am about to be killed then it will be for some elses, more important life. Dying for me should not be your job. As I would never allow it. I dont need that lying on my concience. So if you think for one moment that I would even consider just the thought of letting you die for me come to mind, then spending all those years watching me clearly did you no good. I know you are not pyschic (sp?), so you cannot see my future, and how I will react when I am about to be killed. Dont ever insinuate that I would make someone else take my place. Its degrading. As for my freedom, I see myself more trapped than a servant. Sure, the life is more luxurious, but there's more to be expected of one who the entire kingdom looks too. You can think all you want of what I consider my position. If I see you again tomorrow, I'm going on the other side of the wall. Understand?" Selene practically growled at him. She was irritated all the more that someone would try and make her feel guilty for wanting a freedom that once exsisted among the elven people.

((LMAO, so how do shadows breed if they is all alone? Haha))

Selene glared at him and mumbled something under her breath before she turned around, and created an ice trail into the air that led over the tree tops and to an open field. She stood at the end, looking at the stars and wondering to herself, 'What am I to do with this Shadow? He has no life. But I want to be rid of him! If only the stars had a way to help me.'

Selene suddenly had an idea. She turned the ice around so it would take her back to the shadow. "Wait," she said, "If you really insist on being my stalker for the rest of your days, then this is how you will do it. You will talk to me. You wont hide from me unless I'm in the presence of family or castle friends. Also, one more thing, if I am wearing my hunting outfit, dont follow me." She was going to bargain with him. He'd still be able to watch her so he wouldn't have a mental break down from not being able to do his duty, but she wouldn't have to always be followed around and have no privacy what so ever.

"That you know of. I will be fine on my own. If you worry you can teach me some of your skill. But I always can use my power to get away from my foe's, I recently learned a very useful trick with it, that'll get me out of being surrounded or something, that is, if I'm alone. If I get into trouble and someone is with me I will stay. As for what I will do on my own, thats personal. But to set your worrying mind at ease I'll tell you this, I wont be getting into trouble. Thats all I have to say about it!" Selene replied, happy with the fact she'd at least have a few moments of no one being around her, where she would truly be alone when she wished to think, and talk with the prince.
