She swam after him readily, a little surprising since most people would be panicking for lack of air by this point. Once they had cleared the damaged sub and were in open water, bubbles of air escaped from her mouth, was she going to drown afterall? But instead of faultering her swimming effort became stronger and she was swimming on her own rather than being pulled along by the young sharkman. The fact that her toes and fingers had formed a translusent webbing was not as noticable as the gill slits that were now allowing her to breath, as well as any fish, as they headed away from the sinking sub.

That voice... She slowly lost the feeling of being part of the water. Her eyes becoming less vacant "M-Mikel?" she whispered and blinked slowly... she felt his arms around her, the feeling of being in her body coming back to her. She could feel the cold sub floor again under her legs.

The subs that had been held up by her magic began to sink.

Cassie saw another man, one who looked exactly like the one swimming next to her now, carrying her father along through the water. Faust, being an Avian, had scaley taloned feet like a bird, which were very handy for climbing through trees but pretty useless in the water. That and the weight pulled him down too much to swim. But with the oxygen mask and the help of the adept were-shark he was making his way to the submarine slowly but surely.

Mikel smiled. "Hey, we lost you for a moment there." He brushed a hair out of Deliza's face.

The young woman sighed in relief, interesting to hear underwater but she managed. She spun in the water to look at Tuff again, apparently well experianced in their current environement. "Thank you for helping, sorry I pulled a knife on you." Then she arched her body and darted off to catch up with the second resuer that was ferrying Faust towards the large main sub.

"Thank..you..." She smiled and let her eyes drift shut "...I'm...glad....I'm...gonna sleep now..." she said softly and promptly fell asleep in his embrace. her soft shallow breathing the only sound she made now.

"Well Hel-LO there," Riley said, grinning at Cassie. "And who would you be?" Faust socked Riley in the stomach.
"Ow."
"Watch it buster, that's my daughter you're talking to."

Mikel sighed, picking Deliza up. "I'm going to take little miss sleepy head over here to her bed, she needs some well earned rest."

Cassie blushed at the sudden compliment, the color added to her face being a soft lavender instead of pink. Though she laughed a bit behind a webbed hand at Faust's actions, "What he said. But my name is Cassie." She smiled, "And what are your names? Thank you very much for helping us."
