All of a sudden, she did hear a voice- but not one she really expected.

"HEY! you! Foolish little girl!"

She opened her eyes to find a small... fairy? Floating in front of her face. She had a green dress on, a flower in her hair, and she looked a bit pissed off.

"You did this! You killed all the life! Why'd you do that!"

The fairy got huffy again. It puffed out it's cheeks, looking more comical than angry. "I don't! You do! You're a magician, aren't you!? I'm just a fairy! You're the only one who can fix this- not even Mr. Magnificentpants can do anything about it!" She pointed over to Daisuke, who strangely seemed to take no notice at all of the fairy's existence.

The fairy seemed to loose her little temper at this. It dove at her, and started drumming her little fists on Kanna's forehead.

"Stupidstupidstupidstupidstupid! You're the only one who can do this! Just pull whatever little brains you have in there and cast a spell!"

She flew back again, and adjusted her blonde hair, seeming to regain control.

"Look. Since you obviously can't do this yourself, I'll have to help you with it." She crossed her arms and pouted again. "I'm Nana, by the way. What's yours? Not that it matters much."

The fairy crossed her arms and seemed like she was thinking hard about the name.

"Kannachi."

She said it in a tone of voice as if the matter was settled right then and there.

"Now then, lemme see that stick of yours that bookworm over there gave you."

"Oh phooey. Just give it here!" She grabbed the wand from Kanna's hand, hefting it up like she was carrying a flagpole of some kind. "Huh. Just as I thought- useless artificial magic junk. You won't be needing this."

Nana floated just out of her reach, looking down with a mixture of disdain and bullyish amusement. "So what? What does it matter if that scoundrel-"

her eyes lit up with understanding, and a smile that looked disconcertingly mischievous crossed her face. "Ooooohhhhh. I get it now..."

Nana's smirk grew so wide it was amazing it could be contained on her petite face. "Ha! It's obvious. You're indulging in one of those silly human emotions... I believe this one..." She suddenly landed lightly on top of Kanna's head and looked upside-down into her face-

"Is called L-O-V-E."

Nana sighed and rolled over on top of Kanna's head. "Maybe that's all he thinks... But that's normal. He's a boy. And thus he's stupid. That's why he can't see me. You're a girl. He's an oblivious, lazy, good-for-nothing guy. Probably lecherous too..."
