"Who's 'her'?" he asked, a bit confused. "You mean the queen? Even they have fear and worry. The men and elves of the Dark Army have families who care about them, just like the poor peasants who are executed daily. It's not fair, it's not right, it's absolutely horrible. Let me tell you, if I had the chance, I'd gut the queen where she stood without remorse, despite what the princess would say."

"Yeah, thats who I meant. But who knows about her history. She could be so evil for a reason." She suggested, shrugging slightly. "But yeah, seems like she would deserve that for all the innocents she kills. Especially people from our realm."
What the hell am I saying! I should wash my mouth out with soap she though, holing back a cringe in disgust at the words she was saying, about herself!

With an exaggerated sigh, he nodded and looked her in the eyes.
After a moment, Kolon rested his head back down and shut them, attempting to reestablish a phantasmagoric state.

Jesse looked to the ceiling of the cave and held back a heavy sigh. I have to get out of here or people are going to start wondering where the bloody hell I wandered off to. She looked back down at Kolon, if only there is a way I could get him home safely.

Minutes flew by, and Kolon fell asleep. His slumber had to be deep, because of the pain he was in. It wasn't impossible for him to get home without waking up.

"I'll come back for you," she whispered in his ear and snuck out from under him. She made sure she was extremely careful to not wake him. But standing for her was almost impossible. She just had to get back to the castle, there was no question about that.

Her plan succeeded in that he didn't wake up, merely lay limp across the cave floor. At least he was getting some rest.

She smiled and took one last look at him before limping out of the cave. Sneaking back in the castle would be harder than normal.
