Knowing Mally was like the cat of the grey king's castle in the sense it was used to being overlooked if not unapprechiated, the Unicorn tries to think what as an individual *she* could do.
Speaking softly to Mally.
I know I can't promise instant satisfaction for either your bruised pride or anticipation for what is to come - but if I may be of assistance of anything in the meantime...?
Since she doubted the dormouse would be placated by random trinkets or baubles.

Adam and Amelia Adam let out a loud laugh at the hint the oracle had dropped about him. He was fond of making mischief. He stood and pushed open the back door of the house.
Amelia nodded and took out a few vials before finding the one she needed. She opened it and took a pinch of it, she sprinkled the dull gray powder on the hookah, it instantly shrank to it's normal size. Amelia then stood and brushed off her dress. Then she thought of something.
"Before we leave, I'm going to go upstairs and see if there's anything more practical than my dress."
She then bounded up the stairs. Adam groaned loudly as yet another delay was presented. He could hear Amelia's tiny quick steps as she ran about the upper level. When she returned, Amelia had abandoned her child-like pink frock for a more suitable traveling outfit that consisted of tight dark navy pants, a light blue blouse that was much to big, but had been cinched attractively by a wide brown belt around her middle, she kept her brown boots with the pants tucked into them, but had grabbed a navy headband that Amelia had tied around her hair to keep it out of her face.
Adam could tell she felt slightly uncomfortable, but the wardrobe change was adorable. He wolf-whistled to pick on her and provoked a sheepish grin. She had also brought down a bigger shoulder bag that wasn't as worn out as hers. As she moved the contents of the old bag over, Adam spoke loudly.
"Now can we go, Mia? or do you need to paint your nails too?"

Caterpillar wasn't too sure on the new... style Amelia was sporting. He didn't say anything and instead just placed his hookah in his pocket then walked by everyone back into the corridor. "Then lets hurry along shall we?" He said and carried on back to the entrance hall of the house. "Oh and remember... no talking to the flowers."

Adam and Amelia Amelia nodded as she finished putting everything in her bag. She liked the bag she found. It was bigger and it was more comfortable by far. She followed her twin outside as he maneuvered his way into being in the front.
"Shouldn't the Oracle be in the front, Adam?"
Adam ignored his twin other than to instruct her to scope out what was in front to make sure there wasn't any soldiers of any kind. He wanted to make sure he and Chesh were in the front and back.
"He can tell me where to go, Mia."
Amelia sent out a mental wave, checking for any cards or chess pieces. Since their minds were similar and known to her, it would be easier to spot them from far off. So far it was so good.

"Wait! I wanna play dress up too!" Katty protested and scampered to the stairs before she could be stopped. There was loud thumping and the definite sound of breaking glass, and when She returned she had a red ribbon tied in a bow on the back of her neck, and a gaudy sun-hat with a floppy brim that seemed wider than the length of her body. It was kitten sized, snatched from a doll or teddy bear perhaps. She tossed her head with a flourish and stood stately in the front hall. "Okay, we can go now."

Uni looks to the quick changes with an amused half-smile. The words from another world seem to fill the discription needed.
("Oh yeah - you blend" My Cousin Vinnie)
Still she did feel a little envious but comforts herself knowing not many unicorns could change, much less *had changed*, in the time that she had. Shakes her head clearing it from such thoughts; then turns to the Caterpillar.
I'm ready.

Mallymkun Dormouse Mally giggled at the Kitten as she stumbled out of the house. She was wearing a hat that would normally topple over from it's size and weight, but it sat perfectly between her ears given it's size, " Well, aren't you the cutest thing." She managed to mutter through her giggles.
She turned to Amelia as she walked out of the house. She had changed from her dress into a travellers suit, and although it was alot more fitting for this journey, the Caterpiller that she obviously most desperatly wanted to please showed no signs of being impressed. She huffed at the creatures naive attempts to ignore her crush at all costs.
Mally approached her, still a few feet off as to not seem too close, " And Amelia, looking as charming as ever." She smiled through her light bow. She hoped she had come off as friendly and not in a more... different approach. After all, she might still be feeling a bit sad after Cat's constant rejection.

Katty began to strut about grandly... until she strutted right into Mally's leg. She shook her head and adjusted the large hat with her paw so that she could see where she was going. "Oops, sorry... I was just... am-eye-er-ing your pants! De're very nice."

Tries to complement Amelia, actually she was facintated by - was nearly enamored of the layering of the outfit. Though worries it might sound forced so she drops back a few paces.
Seeing in Mally the same expression she had seen in couples in the forrest. Well...it had that much in common with back home didn't it?
Walk up towards the Dormouse.
He likes you you know - Uni had heard some schoolgirls talk this way. It had seemed to cheer the other up quite a bit. So for good measure, she adds some of her own words to the mix.
Its just he has a lot on his mind and its hard for some to express how they truely feel during....complicated times.

Caterpillar was well aware of everyone talking about Amelia's new... style, but paid no mind to it; infact he was more annoyed with the way Adam has pushed by him to take lead.... protector or not it was rather rude after all.
"We must travel farther into the Looking-Glass forest; we may begin to forget who we are until we leave the forest... this is troublesome of course. But if we all just remember what we must find; the sun dial in which no sunlight touches... then we shall stay on the correct path," He decided to still not tell them exactly why they must find this sun dial; perhaps they would figure it out themselves? Or perhaps not... in any case he knew it was connected to Tulgey Wood; and well hidden at that.

He grinned wickedly, winking at her. when they started ahead chesh took up the back of the line, always the gaurd. You see a dog growls when it's angry,
and wags its tail when it's pleased.
Now I growl when I’m pleased,
and wag my tail when I'm angry.
Therefore I’m mad.

Feels herself blush.
Talk about changes...Uni thinks to herself. Is it wrong that I'd rather befriend the female for but think the male side is kind of cute?
Looking back to Mally as she had not yet responded yet to what was said before.

Mallymkun Dormouse Mally continued to giggle, but this time at Uni's comment. She had been acting extra mad today with her commical attitude and need to laugh. She leaned in to whisper to Uni, " Sickly cute, if Adam hadn't already called dibs... well maybe we could share his male form." She smiled. It was an odd way of looking at a relationship, but Shesh had a way of charming everyone.

Katty pran ahead of the group to picked up a stick and dip it in the mud. "Somebody write my name on my side, then if i forget who I am you can just read it and tell me!" She meowed through a mouthful of stick.
