With a heavy sigh, he pulled himself close to her and rested his head against her chest, falling into a slumber at the comfort of her presence.

Jesse had finished covering his wounds after a few minutes and smiled seeing that he was falling asleep. She wrapped her arms around him to give him a hug.

A few hours later, she opened her eyes dazidly, looking around before remembering where she was.

It took about four minutes for Kolon to awaken again. As he did, he made no moves except for the light fluttering up his eyelids, looking directly up to see her.
The warrior seemed confused, and kept emotionless. At least his eyes were open, but everything was still blurred out, and the previous night's bloodloss kept him dazed.
"Jess...?"

"Yes, I'm right here," she said in a comforting tone, running her fingers through his hair. "Do you need anything?"

His voice was practically a whisper, but it was definitely better than it had been before.

"Of course its me, who else would it be?" she questioned, holding back a wince of the pain in her own leg. She would have to go soon, she knew it, but leaving him like this she couldn't bear to think about it.

He sighed.
"I don't know... I couldn't see before, and I can hardly see now. I just trusted your voice. The only reason I'm still alive is because those three goblins found me and tried their best to heal me up. Unfortunately, their plans were to sell me to the Dark Kingdom, so I escaped."
Kolon coughed faintly.
"You sure you're alright?"

He tried to pull himself up off her lap, but ultimately failed, and fell back down onto her quadricepts.
"Who am I kidding...? I can't get up off of you, let alone walk..." Kolon stated reluctantly in a sharp exhale.

"Its okay," she said, comforting him again and looking around the cave. "If that other guy was here, h-he might be able to help u... you out," she said, catching herself. She didn't want him to know that she had been injured.
