Faith made a face, scrunching her nose. "That's exactly why I don't wear women's clothing," she commented, not intending to be rude. Casually she glanced down at her rather casual business attire, consisting of dressy black pants and a white dress shirt that she had left untucked and with the top button undone. "Well, shall we?" the blonde offered and opened the office door for the Vampire.

Ari looked down at her clothes. "Is it too revealing...?" She sweatdropped. "I normally don't wear these clothes...but when we're walking in the alleyways my gown would've dragged. And if we get attacked, it would be bothersome. Sorry," she added apologetically. She walked out the door and towards the alleyways.

Back at his home, Clifford had visited with his parents and talked to them about the situation at hand. Now he was in the basement of the great manor practising his swordplay with one of the weapons in his collection. Placid was his face and to anyone who did not know him would be most put off by his grim deminor and percise movements. His mind dwelled on the information he had gotten so far. Someone going around draining humans until they were lifeless zombies and a new illness was plaguing his people as if they were alive once more.
((should I bring another person into this rp as a villain or something?))

((I'm sure Lunar will be glad to have extra help in the villain department. I have no problems with it Rhina. I'm doing the same...eventually sweatdrop .))
Faith just nodded a bit and followed Ariai's lead, stopping only to lock the door behind them. The last thing she needed was someone stealing the few pieces of furniture she had in the office. The young woman then turned and caught up with her Vampire guide. "Do you or Clifford have any ideas as to what is causing this?" she asked quietly as the two of them walked.

"We think it may have to do with humans that think ill of the vampires around this neighborhood. Perhaps it is a vampire who doesn't like his own race or the humans. Perhaps it is both. We have no idea. All we know is that our people and the human race is changing drastically, and these changes aren't good for either race." Ariai sighed, rubbing her temples with her index finger.
"...Eventually I will be asked to return to the country side to heal the vampires and humans that have been getting sick...that means I will have to leave the castle, and Clifford. It is...inevitable. This sickness is bringing apart families of both races, and it is hurting." She turned to Faith, eyes burning with determination. "That is why we have to find out what's happening and who's doing this. That is why we have enlisted in your help Faith."
She paused in front of a dark alleyway and sighed. "Here we are. One of the most infested parts of the city. Ready?"

"This sickness... it's because of these Zombie things, isn't it?" Faith asked softly. She had not known that anyone was sick let alone that it could have something to do with her case. What if her new "firneds" were to fall victim to whatever illness was spreading between Humans and Vampires? What if it hit her own family?
"Is it... just in the country side?" the young woman asked quietly, worriedly. Still following Ariai, she nodded absently before following the woman towards an alleyway.

((-hug- Tis okay. I think all of us are a little busy))
"Partly. These zombies are causing more people to become sick, but they are not the source. It is something else that no one has been able to pinpoint yet." Ariai picked her way through the dirty street, keeping her eyes forward. "We're headed to a deserted house that's rumored to have had a labratory when it was still inhabited. A scientist used to live there...it may be that someone is using the man's lab to create a virus or something..." She shuddered.

Faith shuddered as well. The thought of someone purposely spreading an illness between Humans and Vampires terrified and disturbed her. SHe could not really believe someone could do such a thing to their own kind even though she knew it happened. "How could anyone do this to their own kind...? It's wrong..." she murmured to Ariai, voicing her thoughts.

Ariai nodded gravely. "It is, but that doesn't change the fact that people do these kinds of things. It is the same with humans." She kicked open the deteriorating door, and coughed as dust came flying out. "Ugh...disgusting..." She went in and looked around. "Seems to look normal...but the laboratory is downstairs, in the basement. Come-AHHH!" She had stepped onto a trapdoor, and fell downwards. "AUGHH!" There was a loud thump, and a cracking sound. "Ow...I think it would be a good idea not to step forward..."
