Dean gave the paperwork to the person who asked for it and looked around.

"All right, let's go." Kiante said, and basically pushed everyone out of the room. They walked to the elevator and got in, going down to the 2 floor, where they got off. Kiante and Cyber walked to a room marked 'Inventory Dept.' (In Japanese) and opened the door, handing the attendant a piece of paper. "It's gonna take a couple minutes for him to get the stuff."

"Inventory Dept., you should try to learn some Japanese while you're here, it'll help you out immensely."

A few minutes later the attendant came back, handing Dean his uniform, badge, map, room keycard, and a D-police duffle-bag with sheets and bedding. "Here you are, if there's anything else, let me know."

"He's going to need a laptop." Kiante said.

"Okay, I'll get one sent up to his room later."

"Thank you."

Shinkiro glanced at what he was talking about and shrugged. Berri tugged on the bottom of Dean's shirt.

"If's you want's to learn's Japanese fast's, Shinkiro could's teach you's. She's fluent's." Shinkiro, who was not paying attention, nodded in agreement, even though she was lost in her own thoughts. Berri grinned at her and then at Dean.

"She's a's really good's teacher. Though's, she still's has to's help me's stop with's the constant's 's'' at's the end's of each's sentence. It's a habit's even in's Japanese." She then laughed her bird laugh and shrugged her wings, returning to Shinkiro's side.

"Hey, Kiante, where are our rooms?" Shinkiro asked again. She was getting impatient.

Shinkiro nodded and muttered a thanks to him, while Berri opened the door and shut it after Shinkiro went in.

"Tell me NOW what is wrong." Shinkiro demanded.

"You tell's me what's wrong first's." Berri said, jumping up on the bed and curling up in a ball in the corner. Shinkiro sighed and shook her head.

"Nothing is wrong, Berri, except that you've been acting weird." Berri shook her head.

"I'm fine. Why would something be wrong with me?"

"Well, what was that little fest you had with Kiante, huh?" Shinkiro asked, looking away from Berri, thinking that if she didn't, she might see her blush. Berri grinned at the question.

"I's was just's asking him's if he's thought you's were acting's weird. Why's, did you's think I's was asking's him if's he thought's you were's cute or's something?" Shinkiro turned around to glare at Berri in fury, her blush exposed.

"No! Why would you even think that?!" Berri shrugged her wings with a smirk and began to go back to sleep. Shinkiro sighed, realizing that the conversation was over, and crawled into bed with her day clothes still on, to tired and lazy to change into her pajamas.

Kiante and Cyber stood outside the doors for a moment, sighed, then walked down some more hallways to find their room. They walked in, and layed down in their beds.

"Well Cyber...it's been a long day."

"Yeah, you got your crest, we got a new team member...or two, we beat a mega level, and you met your gir--"

"Hey! That's enough Cyber!"

Cyber snickered and replied, "But Kiante, it's true."

"NO, it's NOT! Don't make me come over there!"

"Oh yeah? Whatcha gonna do?"

"This!" Kiante yelled, and then jumped Cyber, getting him in a headlock. Cyber threw him over his back, then Kiante pushed off the wall and lunged back at Cyber, who skillfully and calmly dodged, sending Kiante right ack into the other wall. He fell back onto his bed, panting.

"Feel better." Cyber asked.

"Just a bit." He said, and righted himself, lying back on his back.

"So." said Kiante.

"So." Cyber replied.

"...you wanna take a walk?"

"I dunno. I'm bored though. Hey...you know, Christmas is coming up soon. I suppose most Japanese probably don't celebrate it."

"Probably not."

"That doesn't mean WE can't celebrate it."

"You thinking what I'm thinking?" Kiante asked, a mischevious smile on his face.

"I think I am." Cyber said with an equally evil smile.

"Then, operation Digimon Christmas 07, is a go!"

"Woo hoo!"
