Misaen looked very proud of her kill, not realising nearly her whole front was stained with blood. She trotted around the rabbit and stopped infront of Xerxes. Sitting back she craned her neck to look up at him. she asked with a small tilt of her head. She'd no other Damphousse to look up to, at the moment, but now she'd picked Xerxes for whatever ever reason, and almost wanted his approval.

He was pretty sure that was the most words he had ever said to her at one time, and felt vaguely ashamed of himself.
She ought to at least know enough to learn from example, and at least try for a neat kill, as he had. Even he knew it was too much to expect from a nearly rabbit-sized kit to kill a rabit neatly the first time, but she had spared no effort try to kill it quickly at all.
He couldn't stop her, anyway. He gnawed on his rabbit, not all that hungry, since he had eaten quite a bit of the deer last night. But flying still took a lot out of you, no matter how good at it you were, and it was a good idea to have some extra food, for extra energy. But not too much, though, or it'd weigh you down.

Misaen listened to his criticism and nodded. She stood up and puffed out her chest, taking a strong little stance. She said with a serious nod before turning and trotting over to her kill. The kit stopped and laid down beside the nearly same size rabbit and poked her nose about it's belly, getting coated in a fresh smear of blood as she ripped off meat eat it.
It was really good, even better because she had killed it. She was very proud of her kill; but, however ravenous she was, she could only eat so much. she said with a satisfied sigh, sitting back and licking her muzzle. Though not quite ready yet. She stood on the rabbit's haunches and grabbed it's leg. She pulled and tugged, growling at the defiant limb, trying to snap it off. Still growling she ripped at the flesh with her claws and teeth before chewing the joint. Finally she gave alother tug and ripped the leg off. The bone could be played with later, and she wanted to bring back part of her kill. With the leg dangling from her mouth she looked over at Xerxes with a little smile, her tail wagging happily.

She was learning from her mistakes when they were pointed out to her. That was in her favor, at least. Although he wasn't quite so sure if he wanted to deal with a female like her, once she grew up and became cunning and sneaky and tricky like all the others. A fast learner was the last thing he needed, really. Pity she wasn't a male. He could take her under his wing, and train her, while still holding back enough to make sure that she was at a disadvantage if she ever turned on him. It would be a good idea to get more allies around here.
Although, come to think of it, a female ally was just what he needed. The question was, could he make sure that he was a stronger influence in her life than the Queen, while still being subtle about it? Tricky. He liked the prospect of the challenge, though.
He watched her pull the leg off the rabbit, with quite a bit of difficulty. She was a kit yet, and still weak. Should he have her go train, or should that wait for later? As a female, she would have no reason to challenge him for his position, so having her train wasn't that bad of an idea...But how could he trust her to not pass on what he taught her to someone else?
Training would wait, then. Flying first, because he was not carrying her around everywhere.
He stared back at her, waiting for her to tell him exactly what she planned to do now. Did she want to go back? Go somewhere else, since this unnatural creature liked it outside? He doubted more hunting, since she was full, and it was pointless for her to expend that much energy on something she wasn't going to even eat.

Misaen trotted over to where Xerxes stood and looked up at him, her tail wagging with the leg in her mouth. She gave a wide yawn, dropping the leg by accident. Quickly she pounced on it and picked it back up again, not about to leave her new chew toy behind. she said, her eyelids notably heavy. Finally she was winding down and was actually relativly calm when she was tired.

Had the hyperactive rabbitsized unnatural fluffball finally stopped moving? It looked like she had indeed.
he crouched down so she could get on his back with more ease. Good possible resource or not, he couldn't wait to get rid of her, since she was annoyingly hyperactive. He had a feeling she would hunt him down, anyway, if he tried to ditch her, so it didn't matter if he took off a few hours from babysitting/properly training the Princess kitling.

Oh little did he know that peace would not be easy to find now. Atleast she would be quiet and still when sleeping, which she was more than ready to do now. Tag, flying and hunting, not to mention having a full belly, made the kit sleep. She'd be back of course, he couldn't be free of his shadow for to long. Padding over she wriggled her bottom before jumping up, adjusting until she was positioned between his wings again. she chirruped, her tail wagging to fluff his fur again.

He was glad he hadn't gotten around to fixing his back fur. He'd be very annoyed if he had fixed it, and then she went and messed it up again. Luckly little kitling.
As he flew, he wondered what he was going to do with her when he got back. She looked like she wanted to rest, and he'd be more than happy to get rid of her so she could nap, but that meant he would have to take her into the Queen's chambers, and since he hadn't quite figured out how to shield his mind from her yet...Well, it would be bad, with this newformed plan brewing in his mind. And he certainlly didn't want her in his chambers, either. Maybe he could dump her off at the kits' dorms? No, the Queen wouldn't like that. Damn, this was going to be a very short lived plan, unless he could think of something, and soon.

Misaen was relatively docile through the entire flight. At one point her tail stopped wagging and she laid her head down on his back. When they got nearer to the caves her head perked up again, though her tail remained stoic. she said happily.

She was a kit, and he really didn't want to deal with a kit calling him by his name. But then, she was a Princess, too, and had a right to call him by his name, and that wouldn't be seen as disrespectful.
She struck him as she social type, though, and what if she kept calling him by his given name to the other kitlings? Trying to train them otherwise would be a real pain.
If she wanted his name, and asked again, he supposed he would have to give it to her, but he'd really rather not. Kits were such fragile things, and if he merely swatted one for daring to call him Xerxes, he was quite sure that would do a lot of damage, and the Queen would not be happy, and the Queen was already very displeased with him as it was. But then, the feeling was mutual, and he was very displeased with the Queen, too.
They were back at the entrace to the caves, now, and he landed, hoping she had recovered enough energy to walk herself back to the Queen's chambers. He really didn't want to go anywhere near that place with this plan in his mind, where the Queen could find it.

She said rolling off of him, landing gently on her paws. Another wide yawn made her drop the leg. Again she pounced on it as if it would run away. she said trotting in a circle before heading into the caves, dissappearing only after rounding a corner, she nearly glowed in the tunnels.

He had mentioned that Alpha was his title, but if she choose not to listen...Her problem, not his. At least she was making his life oh so much easier by going off by herself.
He spent a few moments fixing the fur on his back where her tail had messed it up, before entering the caves, and heading back to his chambers. He hadn't been awake for that long yet. Maybe he should go back to sleep, wake up again, and pretend this whole thing had been a dream. Possible useful ally or no, she was annoying. And she was going to make him spending time around the Queen or older Princess all that much more dangerous to him. He really would be best if he just left her alone, and tried to get her to annoy someone else.

Blackheart laughed that was funny.He said looking serious. He stood up and stretched his hind legs. Then he sat back down.He grumbled to himself. Well Calix and Adurna where sensible and smart.
