The thing that has me thinking now is... how does the public find out that there was an assassination attempt on Cagalli? We were planning to have reactions to the news...

yeah....maybe a news reporter trying to catch the chairwoman's wedding caught the assasination attempt on camera instead?

We'll just have someone hearing a rumor about the chairwoman's wedding. They'll take a video camara and all...yaddi ya
Then they'll get the assasination on tape as well.

news reporters always tend to become nosy...
but isn't miriallia a news reporter...? oh, or because she's a journalist and photographer...she in media, but not that type of media ^^'

However, plots that are too complex make one lose sight of the main plot. I just don't want that to happen.
As well, we have so many things developing in the first episode, everyone will wonder 'Who the heck is this Kairynn person? How does she know Lacus?' and then we have Dearka and Miriallia trying to hit it off again AND Athrun missing AND the assassination.
... isn't that a bit much for a first episode? I think SOME things should be explained, I guess... or at least given temporary excuses to calm the readers/viewers' minds.
