yep i got these huge rubber mats that hold like a gallon of water when i track snow into my truck, i also got some them silicone blades on there i love them soooo much.

really? because it got down to -7 here and the wind chill was real cold. the silicone blades were fine.

As I told Yozsi:

New Year's eve, when I was in the city, I came apon the problem where the downpipe became dislodged from the rest of the exaust. Thus I was runnng an open header, in the middle of the city, on teh night where there are a million cops everywhere with itchy ticket fingers.

And what do I do, while running with no exaust? Take it easy and keep the RPMs down? Hell no. I decided to race a '05 Dodge 1-ton with a Cummins. With open headers.

After I hit 4500rpm, I discovered that a 300ci Inline-6 will, and does very well, set off car alarms from the right-hand lane.

and for te record: I whomped the Dodge by about a block and a half. And he was gunning for it too.

You need, you know, horsepower for that. sweatdrop

I fired off in second I think, and it worked just fine. I really wouldn't mind an overdrive...

Well, I found out what is so fun about mud bogging. xd

My buddies were heading out in their stock Chevy Scottsdale pickup when they phoned me. So I tagged along, just to watch mostly and mabye carry them home if their truck folded in half or blew up or something.

So first, we try to go up a sandy road. that didn't work, so we went to a little Gasline service road that has a nice little mudpit beside it. After heading through that without a problem, They get cocky.

So they head to a BIGGER mud pit, at the end of a slough. So I'm saying "******** that, I don't have 4wd yet." After they drive through it, I'm laughing. Finally, they got stuck trying to get to the dry way out of the pit.

I went to rescue them, because I figured it wouldn't be a problem. 20 minutes later, they're free, and we're heading home because it's starting to rain and it's dark. As I'm heading out, we get to dry land no problem.

And then, I slid off the dry road into nearly 2' of nice, thick, sticky mud with the passenger side tires. We try for half an hour to get me out, then call it quit and head into town to call a tow truck.

All the tow trucks are out. So I try for another half an hour to find a guy who can come pull me out. Finally, A friend brings his chevy down with some chains, and we pull my sorry Bronc out and head home. Then, my power steering belt blew up/off/away. So I'm driving over river rocks, without power steering, and with my windsheild covered in mud.


I'd have to say it was a good day. xd

thanks alot there buddy. But wet rocks arn't all that grippy, y'know?

I got rid of those. But the new ones don't seem to work that well either. ><
