"Nice to meet you." She grinned again.
She started bringing her goblet back to her mouth, but paused halfway. There was something about knights on that scroll she thought, but didn't fully read it. Shrugging it off, she took another sip and began eating.
"Are you just going to sit there looking pretty, or are you going to eat?" she seethed out, shooting a brief glare at him. The words startled her as they came out of her mouth. "Sorry," she muttered, looking down at her plate.

He glared back.
"Well, I was pretty content being 'pretty', but I guess I can snack a bit, too."
Cole ignored her apology. None of it was real, anyway. Pulling the leg off of a roasted turkey, he took a bite, and then sipped his water.
"So, your 'majesty', what's on today's agenda?"

She chuckled, glaring at him still. "Well now knight, isn't that for me to know? Oh, wait, no, there's something you have to do." She tapped her chin in thought.
"What was it again?" In all honesty, she didn't know, she hadn't read it completely. "For starters, you can go practice your fights, war will be starting, I can feel it." She grinned deviously.

He crossed his arms and cocked back in the chair, picking a few scraps of meat from his teeth with his tongue.
Scorpivius didn't like the idea of being bossed around by some chick he'd never seen before, but the thought of battle sparked an interest in his head.

She grinned deviously again and took another bite of her meal. "So, I suggest you get all your little comrades together and begin the training."

He stopped for a moment, thinking, Weapons...? What am I talking about? Have I lost my mind?

"Very well," she said, sighing slightly and stood, starting to head out of the dining room.
"Disappoint me, and it will be your life on the line," she threatened as she walked by.
She went across the hall into her rather intricate study. "How shall I declare this war?" she questioned to no one in particular. Again, she sighed and sat on the edge of the desk, looking out into the hallway through the open door.

He stood and followed her to the study, adjusting the belt that held both a rapier and a revolver... he hadn't even noticed before.
"Well," the dark knight began, leaning against the doorframe, "We could ignite their capital city into flames, then hold their princess hostage. That sounds like a dastardly thing to do, doesn't it?"

You probably want to know a little bit more information about who I am and what I look like, right? Well, I can't tell you that, my life is in jeopardy enough as it is, holding this key and not having a safe residence.
Jake grinned to himself, pocketing the small iron key. The chest was no where near him. Naturally, he panicked a little, but then shrugged the feeling away. There must be something else he needs to do. Thinking back to his grandfather's story, he started to remember what must be done.
He is to wander through both realms, not get caught and search for the chest. If one of the sides finds the chest first, it would be a cold day in hell before Earth gets back to how it is meant to be. The sides are supposed to remain in balance, neither one having too much power. If that doesn't happen, well...
Earth will cease to exist as we know it. Jesse looked up from the rugged floor beneath her feet. "Yes, that does seem like a logical idea. Just tell me knight, how would you plan on burning the city? Wait," she paused, pushing herself up from the desk.
"We have catapaults, get them near the realm's limits... no, that won't work. We need something more conspicuous."

"Actually," he interrupted, "I recommend... suicide bombers."
Cole chuckled at the thought. How dark.
"A few men with barrels strapped over themselves would look like a couple of peasants lugging supplies, especially if they were labeled with fruit. What they won't expect is for the luggage to be filled with oil, hmm? We just send them off into different positions and have them spark the fuse. That's all there is to it."

With her hand, she shooed him away. "Go get them and meet back in the throne room," she ordered.

He growled lowly within his throat.
"I'm not your serv-..."
The knight stopped himself and bowed, fluttering the cape behind him as he stomped out.
"Who does she think she is...? I'm a ******** military strategist, not 'Squibbles' or whatever his name is!"
After having a couple guards take the peasants from their cells, he lead them into her Majesty's throne room with a kneel.
"Here they are, your highness."

"Very good knight." She motioned for a couple guards hidden in the shadows to take care of the prisoners by fitting them with the 'fruit' barrels.
"And I recommend you get your war face on. I want you to kidnap the princess," she grinned and sat in her chair, crossing her legs.
