Teddy Lupin made me cringe a bit at first. Sure I guess I'm glad that something of Remus is still around but it's also like... proof that's constantly around just telling you "Yes, you're dreams have officially been crushed. And there's no way around it: he has a child." So I was a bit annoyed with Teddy, then I read some fanfiction and am slowly warming up to him. sweatdrop Then I found these two comics (Sorry, I don't mean to stretch the page if I do...): You may need to save those and zoom in on them... sweatdrop But now I completely adore him. 3nodding

Glad you think so. I was actually laughing out loud at the second one. Just Harry's expression when Teddy says "Like a wolf?", it was priceless. biggrin

Forgive me for missing out on all the discussion...computer had a virus. sweatdrop
I had the feeling Snape was in love with Lily, but never really aknowledged it. 3nodding The fact that she stood up for him kinda in the 5th book made me think he'd perhaps liked her enough for her to defend him. Of course, calling her mudblood killed it. sweatdrop And all the "I hang out with Death Eaters" thing. rolleyes
If they had gotten together...*ponders what that would've been like* eek
I like how all the horcruxes were destroyed by different people. Harry with the diary many years back, Dumbledore and the ring, Ron and the locket, Hermione and the cup, Crabbe and the diadem (how do you pronounce that word?), Voldemort killing the part of him inside Harry, and Neville with the snake. Then Voldemort pretty much finished off himself didn't he? Or was it because of Harry's spell being more powerful...*confused*
I knew Harry wasn't going to die though. sweatdrop I just had the feeling...I was all, "she can't just kill him off. Then no one could destroy Voldemort". I'm glad he lived actually...it would've been lame. xp
This one, I think, is by far my favorite. There's so much excitement in it! heart Of course it's also the most depressing...and I thought one major death in a book was hard to handle. crying *will forever mourn Dobby, Fred, Remus, Regulus, Moody, and any other of the characters I liked that died*.
All the original marauders are gone now. crying Including Snape and Lily. I was sad when Snape died...it sucked. And I think he made Harry look at him when he was dying because Harry has Lily's eyes...probably the one thing he wanted to see again. *sad*
I didn't entirely hate the Remus and Tonks thing...cute that they had a kid...but I came up with a reasoning to it for Siremushippers...maybe Remus did it just to make Tonks happy? ninja Like she was in love with him and he married her so she wouldn't be depressed or something...
And wow, Ron's love and care for Hermione really shows when she's being tortured. He was just going crazy.
Sorry if I'm repeating myself! sweatdrop I can't remember what I wrote last.

So...I was talking about Harry Potter at work to like...seven people and one of them was listening (but that's besides the point) and I noticed something! Jo actually hinted the order they would die by the placement of their names on the map! It is in order of who lives the longest.
Moony dies last. Wormtail died right before Moony. Padfoot died before Wormtail and Moony. And Prongs died before Padfoot, Wormtail and Moony. XD

That's really cool! Anyways, I just made a story to sort of make the whole Tonks/Remus thing okay in my mind. It may not help any of you other Remus/Sirius shippers, but it certainly helped me to write it. Not advertising or anything but I'd love for you guys to read it and review it for me. http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3711324/1/Starlight^_^;; Thanks.

I finally took the time to read those comics. They're quite silly.
And I have a question...okay...you remember in Kings Cross, the chapter, how there was a baby-ish creature flopping under a chair? Was that supposed to resemble Voldemort?

I always thought that that was the part of Voldie that went into Harry when he was hit with the curse. 3nodding

Hey guys. Sorry I've been so flighty lately. School is being really annoying and French AP has me on the verge of tears... just to give a small apology present here's this awesome web transcript. All sorts of unanswered DH questions are answered here. Maybe some of you have already seen it but it's always good fun to revisit it: http://www.bloomsbury.com/harrypotter/events/

Thanks for posting the transcript link. It answered a lot of questions for me, and filled in the blanks as far as everyones future after Voldemort's death that I felt was missing in DH. I still loved the ending, but I really like closure.
I, too, felt that the Remus/Tonks thing was a bit off. But I could see Remus in his grief for Sirius and not wanting to hurt Tonks' feelings might think it a good idea to go ahead and marry her. But that could just be me.
I'm glad Ron and Hermione finally kissed, and I know that they were under threat of impending doom, but I still would have preferred a more romantic kiss for them.
I had always thought (or hoped) that Snape was not as bad as he seemed, but even knowing how he helped Dumbledore, and rejected Voldemort (only because Voldemort had killed Lilly), he was still in essence not a very nice guy, I think. Too selfish, prejudiced, and full of pride.

I really liked the book. I thought that it was actually the best one she wrote. heart It was really busy, though--so much happening all at once.
