Soirka spread her wings and took to the air. Petra wasn't far away... she knew that she'd hadn't used her wings in a while and that after this flight they would be sore but if the pain was worth it in stopping the evil spreading through the world... she'd do whatever.
Her wings caught the breeze and she looked back to see Rihara and Kain below her, still talking. If she could describe the joy of flight to them, she would, but to her it felt like home.

Rihara looked up at the angel soaring over head. Wow... she thought she looked beautiful, like a giant black swan. Rihara had an urge to take up her wings and follow, but decided to conserve her energy for more important things...like battles.

Kain chuckled before mounting Sylph "Get on then we can go" he said glancing into the sky briefly. This was another example for him not being fond of most angels "Show offs" he muttered briefly stroking Sylphs mane.

Rihara leaped onto the horses back as gentley as she could, and held onto Kain's waist, locking her clawed fingers together for support. She cheekely rested her head agaisnt his plate armour. She smiled as she heard Kain's comment about the angels, and laughed gentley.
"Kain...we ready to go then?"

Kain looked back to her "Yes we are lets go and watch the saddle bags" he said kicking Sylph into moving. Sylph leaped forward into a fairly fast pace he wasn't to fast but neither was he slow. A couple of hours passed and Sylph slowed "Just a bit further theres a small lake just past the tundra fields we'll camp there" he said mainly to the horse then to Rihara.

Rihara lifted her head up from Kain's back and looked rather bemused:
"Hmmm? You mumbling to your animal again? It's kind of disconcerting that you're ignoring the fact I exist... Instead preferring discussions with the equine member of this trio..." She said testily, flicking Kain's shiny armour with a long, black claw.
I'm surprised Kain can forget my EXISTANCE at all ha ha ha...maybe he's worried about what his Goddess is thinking about this arrangement?

He chuckled and looked back "Well Sylph has been with me for years and he's the one carrying to fully grown people" he said this sticking his tongue out at the demon. Soon Sylph came to stop and Kain dismounted a bit slower then usual. Once off he looked around nearby area "Damn not much wood around here" he muttered taking the reins and leading Sylph to the lake. (After Rihara dismounts that is.)

"Hnnn..Kain I can't say I like the fact that this area is..a little on the open side..." Rihara said with a concerned tone. She noticed the way the area was open to viewing from the hilltops and the sky.
She walked up to where Kain was watering his horse, and gently ran her nails through the mane, carefully removing tangles.
"This is a very fine animal...strong and intelligent..but seriously, wouldn't it be wise to camp nearer to the treeline? At least that way we can dive into cover.Or even better, within the forest in a clearing?" Rihara said to Kain.
"I mean I can keep guard in jaguar form, wild beasts would be no problem.."

Kain girnned and turned to her "Your right but there aren't many forests here" he said removing Sylph's saddle bag. He walked away and sat down not far from the horse his grin increased at what she said "Wild animals are no problems for me well the cats at least" he said laughing some more.

Soirka landed near them. She'd flown for a while before realising that they werent beneath her. "Is your horse tired?" she asked as she watched the creature drink.
A tingle spread down her spine and she looked around at the mountains before closing her eyes and tipping her head back into the wind. The message came to her in colours; pulsing and swirling around her senses. She re-opened her eyes.
"Alchaeon is in angelus now. The angels are angry, they are looking to wage a war on this Kanis... I fear we may not be safe here," she spoke.

Rihara nodded in agreement with the angel:
"Kain I think we need to just pack as much food and water as we can and keep on the move...I...just don't feel staying here for long would be a good idea...."Rihara's face showed great concern of their situation.

Soirka shivered and wrapped her wings around her. Alchaeon... why did you have you go? I need you here... she sighed and sat down on a nearby rock.
"We can protect one another to a certain degree but if the angels arrive, I fear I may doom you both. Would you like me to fly ahead and meet you in Petra?" she asked as she scoffed the dry mud beneath her feet.

The both made the same point Kain thought to himself and slowly he stood up again lifting up the saddle bag as well. With a sigh he approached Sylph and returned the saddle bag to the mare, "Sorry girl our winged companions are right. He muttered an enchantment and his hand began to glow, placing them onto the horse he whinnied in apparent joy at the warmth of the spell.
The task done he remounted the horse looking to the winged characters "Lets go then just make sure if I fall asleep I don't fall off Sylph he said. Turning the horse in the right direciton waiting for Rihara to mount it behind him.

Soirka watched them mount and start to ride off before she took one of her double daggers out of its scabbard upon her back. She admired the blade: it had been her fathers... angel silver, one of the purest in the world. She kept it in her hands as she took flight; she felt she would need it more now than ever before in her life.
Before long she was flying next to Kain and Rihara, her wings keeping her aloft with ease as she admired the mount's fine structure and subtle muscles. It was a good breed and would serve them well.

Rihara watched as the Fallen Angel drifted lightly alongside the galloping horse. The Angel reminded her of a black swan...elegant yet dark at the same time.
Remembering what Kain said about the chance of him falling asleep; Rihara inched herself as far along the saddle as she could to maintain proximity to Kain. She gentley reached round his armoured body and carefully grasped the reigns...being careful not to pull on the horses' head.
"Soirka....How much further to Petra?" She called to the drifting angel, then turning to Kain, she said quietly:
"I haven't fed in over five days and it wasn't safe to feed where we were..." She spoke with obvious trepidation, but maintained the hint none-the-less.
Really...she coldn't understand why she had agreed to this rediculous pact anyway...oh well at least she was unlikely to keel over...
