No, as there will be a lot of other games I would play on the PS3 in the future as well. I said I'd rather play a remake of FFVII on the PS3 because the graphics would be like that of Advent Children and the PSP couldn't deal with those kinds of graphics.

Right. I'm glad to see that then. But yer right, I guess a remake on the PS3 would be fantastic as it would finally have worthwhile graphs like it deserves. Man! I can't wait to see what NEO Bahamut will look like in PS3 graphs! whee eek That's my most favorite summon of all time! 3nodding BTW, did you notice than in the demo they forgot to add the "Loveless" marquee at the theater when Aeris passes by? I sure didn't see it!

Ha-ha! That fake dating scene was awesome! And so funny as well... I've seen Aeris' date, Tyfa's date & even Yuffie's date; but that was just silly. Ha-ha! lol
But you know, I've been wondering if a job system could have made FF7 better or not, what do you all think?

I think FFVII's materia system was perfect for that particular game to be perfectly honest.
The jobs system annoys me in FFIII, but doesn't in FFV. It's completely stupid in FFXI because if you choose your class, level up a lot and then change it, you're back to low HP again. I can understand levelling up in the jobs, but your overall level shouldn't be depleted back to 1 again. I'll make a new content ID at some point, but that will be when I have people to play with on a regular basis as well as a job in order to pay for it.
However, going back to FFVII, I don't think a jobs system would have worked to be honest. The game is a legend in itself as it is, and if it was any different I don't think it'd have come as far as it has.

I suppose yer right but I think I would have liked to see some kind of job system there too. I don't know about you but it seems to me the characters have a job of their own. Like, Cloud might be a soldier or a paladin while Barret and Vincent are gunners. What would Yuffie be? I think she may be a cross between a thief and a juggler, wouldn't you say? Tyfa would definitely be a fighter and Aeris could be a white or red mage. I wonder what the others would be... Anyone care to guess? Really? Is it THAT annoying in FF3? I'd like to try both 3 & 4 and see what they're about. I do agree with you that if a character's HP increase because of a job, they shouldn't go down just because you changed it. In FFTA, that doesn't happen. Yer stats remain the same and they just go up depending on the job you level up in. That's great! What's not so great is that you can't level up much (lv 50 is max) and you can't end up with many HP. The character with the highest amount of HP in my party is Cid and he can't change jobs (he has about 500 HP). eek

*Shakes head.* Not for FFVII...noooooot for FFVII. It could have worked on FFVIII or IX on the other hand.

No? Ok then. I wonder though, is there anyone out there who would like to comment more on that matter? How about on something else but still related to FF7? I got something! I was wondering why there aren't any moogles in FF7. I believe there are mogs but, they're not the same, are they? rolleyes

Still, I've always wondered why the only mogs are found on a summon (the chocomog) and on a supposed character (Cait Sith). Could the game have been better by having an actual moogle as a character somewhere? neutral

Nah. It worked for FFVI, wouldn't have for FFVII (although Cait Sith seemed like a slightly different black version of it, and there was the game at the Gold Saucer - Mog House), wouldn't have for FFVIII either, and they are present in IX. Somehow they don't seem to fit in with scientific/futuristic Final Fantasy worlds.

Yay for Final Fantasy VII! Just had to express my happiness that someone else calls FFVII their favourite.
I hear there's a way to get Barret to go on the date with Cloud, and also Yuffie. I've never known how though.
