"I"m sure you do more then that... you have sword skill I see. " Eowiweth smiled and pointed to her sword. "Ah... here we are." Soon they moved from the woods into a large open area surrounded by hills and in the mountains and there incaved into the mountains was Rivendell.

Lenora laughed a little. "Well, ok...there's more to it then that. What's the point of knowing how to use a sword if you're never going to use it?" Two elven guards stood by the opening to Rivendell. Lenora nodded at them and they nodded back, letting them through.

"Sometimes its better not to use your sword if it means being in a position where you'll have to risk your life." Eowiweth smiled and the rode in. Eowiweth demounted and held the reins in her hand. "Where do you house your horses?"

"I gladly risk my life for some adventure." Lenora also dismounted and began to walk towards the stables. "This way."

Eowiweth brought her horse into the stables and set him up. She took off his saddle and petted his head, whispering gently into his ear. "I'll be back. Lement."
She tied his reins and turned toward Lenora. "Now... if you could show me the way to Lord Elrond."

Lenora did the same and told the stable hand to brush the horses down. She walked out of the stables and looked around. "Hmm....almost night..he'll be in his chamber most likely. This way." She made a right and followed a narrow cobblestone street.

Eowiweth nodded and followed Lenora. When they arrived at the entrance to the chamber a elf turned to them.
"I'm here to see Lord Elrond." Eowiweth said with a slight bow.
"ah, Lord Elrond is in counsel at the moment. I will take your name to him if you wish." the elf said and looked down at her sword.
"I am Eowiweth of Rohan, ranger of the north. I'm here on business of my brother, Gilead." She saw his glance. "If it would make ease I would be willing to lay my sword before meeting with the Lord Elrond."
"Let us see if he will see you first, Lady Eowiweth." The elf nodded, excusing himself and went into the chamber. Eowiweth turned to Lenora.
"Thank you for taking me here to Elrond. You have no debt to pay and may leave or stay at your wish."

Lenora listened with little interest, something about a brother. She yawned a little and turned back to Eowiweth. "I would like to see him as well..so I might as well wait with you. I should said goodbye."

Eowiweth nodded and the elf returned. "He will see you. Their meeting has just depersed." The elf opened the door and led them in. Lord Elrond sat in a large chair waiting.
"Eowiweth is a elven name. You are not Dúnedain. So where are you from?" He looked over at Lenora. "Lenora, where have you been?" He glanced at her arm. "I see you ran into trouble. Come..." He waved her toward him and motioned to see her arm.

Lenora bowed and walked to him..her head low..not meeting his eyes. He would not be pleased with her leaving.

Elrond slowly unwrapped her arm and winced. He put his fingers into the small pool dish beside him and rubbed it gently into her wound. The wound already started to look better.
Eowiweth sighed. "Lord Elrond, I've traveled very far to meet with you. I was born in Rohan. Both of my parents fates ended there and I was on my own. The Dúnedain took me in. They told me I may find some hope with you. You have been known to take in lost children."
"I will not be taking you in Eowiweth. There have been some rare cases. Besides you are old enough on your own." He continued wrapping Lenora's arm.
"I would not be asking that of you. But I'm on a search for my brother Gilead. You have been also known to have the gift of foresight and I was hoping you had news of him."
"Gilead..." Elrond stopped his work and stared off thinking.
"You know of him?" Eowiweth stepped forward her heart skipping a beat.
"No." He said and looked at her. "But when I hear the name I feel a great dread. Where is your brother?"
"I don't know." Eowiweth sighed a bit sad at the news. "I'm on a search for him. Do you know of another place I may find word of him?"
Elrond let go of Lenora's arm and sat up straight in his chair. "I would suggest visiting the land where you last saw him. I feel as though you haven't been to the Rohan in awhile."
"Ten years." Eowiweth nodded. "I will go there. I was hoping you'd give me some help. I shall be going."
"I would warn you Eowiweth. I have a feeling that you should just let him rest." Elrond said.
"Forgive me Lord Elrond. But I only live because of him. I shall not forget him that easily, thank you." Eowiweth turned to leave. Elrond turned to Lenora.
"Now, Lenora..." He raised his eyebrows. "Where did you go?"

Lenora listened with interest..Rohan..she had never been there. She was pondering when Elrond turned her attention to her..she still refused to look at him. "Just out in the woods..wolves attacked. But I am fine..my horse is fine..it is nothing to worry about." She looked at her wound..the burning had stopped.

Elrond frowned. "You cannot hide a secret from me child. I see your desire for more. You are grown. Its your decision to stay or not."

She finally looked at him and smiled softly. "I will miss you, but I can not stay here. I feel trapped, like there is something waiting for me."

Elrond nodded. "I've known for many years now that your destiny will not end or start in Rivendell. Go with the Ranger. But I warn you. She is on a dire quest. Find way to seperate yourself from her when the time is right."
