I've noticed a difference in the pull streangth of certin fish. blue seedkins and spicy tuna move at the same speed and distance but the tuna is harder to pull around.

Here's a tip on casting: For a more precise cast, click and release to lift your rod, then HOLD DOWN the button and release it when it reaches the target power. I've found that this can essentially cut your reaction time in half and enable you to hit the maximum on the power bar more often.

While I was fishing, the game did an error. It froze for a while, an error message popped up and all that. Afterwards, though, the screen completely flipped out. The bubble where it shows the fish you caught? It started flashing through all the fish available in Gambino. Sooo, I know that there's this type of fish: I just don't know what they are sweatdrop

Those are the only fish that I could make out. The thing was flashing by -really- fast, so I had to randomly press the screencap button to get them :]

They're worth less than the Gembacks.

tip:
You can absolutely tell exactly what is on the hook by the feel of it. I haven't caught a single kind of garbage in 1 week already. I know the feeling of every type of fish except the rares - lionfish, tino's, and bas'terds. You can reel in all kinds of great fish with the crappy bait this way 3nodding

Trick: Well I found out if you wait for the line to goto the end of the powerbar and back, then the 2nd time it goes back to the right side of the bar it goes right to the end line so you can get over 100ft with a Distance Rod + eek (If you do this right the black line at the right side of the bar will become grey)
