Ito sighed, glad he could finally get the story off his chest. That was part of the reason he brought up his blindness now. He cuddled against Sam and spoke, "Well Josh... Or... Dad... Whatever you'd like me to call you..." He started, uncertainly at first. "You see... Ever since I was born... I was blind... The town I lived in is a dead one due to a disease I had been born with called the Scarlet Tears... My parents sent me off to a holy man to get cured... My brother, who had a stronger immunity to it, seeked help from an old witch in the town... He wound up possessed, but that is important later..." He said. "Now then... I was sent to a holy man... Holy Knight to be more exact... And had the disease removed from my infant body... I was then trained from early youth and became a part of the order..." He said lightly, smiling back on fond training memories he could only hear and never see in his mind.
"Well... I was trained, and eventually, I rose to the highest in the class and even defeated my own master and the head of the order at the age of thirteen... I then wound up being told to make a pilgrimage to Ria High, to recieve better training... For two years I travelled, finding my way here... I met a vampire named Taro Matsuda, a demonness named Kaori... And my brother Zetsu, currently possessed by the demon Kuro, who has stolen my brother's name just as a mockery to him... I fought him and wound up going berserk for the first time in my life... These wings sprouted from my back and my eyes returned to normal and I could see... I managed to release Kaori from enslavement by him, though I ended up in bad shape... Kaori healed me... I soon met Sam on a beach and sparked up conversation, though the start was over her rather dirty mouth..." He said with a smile.
"Eventually, we wound up rather good friends..." He continued. "After a few months here, I got a challenge from Kuro who had invaded my dreams as I recently found out... Sam guided me to the crater near the school and Zetsu and I fought... Eventually, he used a certain ability to open a doorway to the void... We fought there in pure darkness... I could not see a thing even if my eyes had returned to normal... Then the next thing I saw in the void was a bright light... Though I'm not sure if it was a light in myself... I reached for it and soon felt the wings upon my back and my eyes could discern very small things like my own hand. I soon used light energy and was able to see in a rather impressive radius and fought KuroZetsumei there... Eventually splitting him from my brother and wounding him... When I emerged from the void, I could see permanently and the wings had stayed upon my back..." He finished. "And so begins the point when your daughter and I fell in love..." He added on with a smile. He felt no need to mention he was fifteen before the void, unsure if it would have any effect or what.

Josh, though his back was turned to them, smiled lightly when Ito said 'dad'. He couldn't say he particularly minded. But the smile faded as Ito continued, and Josh began to listen more carefully, taking in the details. This was his future son in law, after all. He'd like to know something about him, especially when he heard the word disease. He intantly wondered if it was contageous, thinking of Sam, but wasn't going to interrupt. His question might be answered on its own. So he kept silent, and Sam did as well, just listening quietly. When she appeared in the story, and the reason for their first speaking with each other was mentioned, a sudden smirk spread across her face, but she too didn't wish to interrupt. It was a good story, in her opinion. She was somewhat curious about Kaori and Taro, but decided to save that for another time, if she felt like it.
For now, both she and her dad were listening carefully to Ito's explanation of what went on in the void. Josh was vaguely wondering about this pure darkness, and the bright light that'd he'd somehow reached. All of this was very confusing to him. The first dealing he'd had with strange phenomena was when Sam had come home one night with blood gushing from her neck. Since then, he'd seen nothing really, until now. To be honest, he was still getting used to the fact that Ito had wings. He didn't reply at first, just finished making Ito's tea. Then he grabbed it, along with two bottles of mountain dew, and handed the tea and Sam one of the bottles. He kept the other for himself as he sat back down on the couch opposite them. "...huh," was all he said at first. Then he suddenly grinned and laughed. "I'd like to visit this school sometime. It sounds way more interestin' than things 'round here." He was kidding, but only partly. Fight's splitting demons from people? Suddenly regaining your sight? He'd never heard of stuff like this! He watched the two for a moment, who were snuggled together on the couch, then smiled lightly. "Well, you have my permission. I mean, you'd probably get married even if ya didn't," he shrugged, glancing towards Sam. "But, ya do."

Ito laughed lightly at Josh's remark. "Well... It all depends on who you meet or why you're there... And I'm happy to have met my bride..." He said lightly with a smile. "We don't really need your permission... It's more the blessing of the father that the young couple usually seeks... So... We pretty much have it right?" He asked with a smile, knowing he did anyway. In having permission, you had the blessing. "So then... About our wedding plans... Sam... What would you prefer? I, in all honesty, don't care what you wear, it all pales in comparison to your beauty..." He said lightly, placing a small kiss on her cheek with a smile. He wanted to show that he appreciated her to her father, just as a reassurance that he would love her and always see her as beautiful. "So then... She can choose what she wants to wear, I'll probably wear my white tuxedo... All we really need is decorations planned if it's a public wedding, or just the people to invite if it's a private wedding." He said simply.

"Eh, same thing," Josh grinned, shrugging his shoulders. "Whatever ya need, ya got it." He lounged back against the couch, taking a large drink of his mountain dew. And suddenly, he fell silent, observing the two quietly when Ito mentioned wedding plans. Sam blinked at him, one eye closing when he kissed her cheek, then opening again right after, their startling red showing brightly. She grinned and glanced randomly at the ceiling, as if in thought. "Huh... Wearing a white gown might be fun sometime, just ta try it," she said with a grin. She rested her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes for a second, trying to picture it and the rest of the wedding, and attempting to get some sort of idea in her head. "...private sounds better," she said, not opening her eyes. "I mean, I don' have a lotta people ta invite. Do you? My dad an'... Kate's at Ria already." She blinked her eyes open suddenly, grinning sheepishly up at Ito. "I just realized I don' have a lot of friends."

Ito grinned when Josh said that whatever he needed he'd get. He took a long sniff of the aroma coming from the green tea and sipped it lightly, sighing happily. "Well... If you want to be in the white gown, so be it... Now... I know my brother will want to see me get married... Probably play the part of the older brother who can't resist toying with his younger one..." He thought aloud about his brother. "I'm not sure if Miss Aya would want to see me get married... Taro and Kaori-chan might want to... Alice definitely... But that's about all I can think of... If they have a girlfriend or boyfriend they should be allowed to bring them too right? It's only proper that all couples get to enjoy the day..." He said. "Well... We'll save money on decorations and only use it to send out invitations... I guess we only need to spend money on your gown and invitations then!" He said after figuring everything.

Sam nodded, looking at Ito curiously. She hadn't seen much of his brother other than when he'd been posessed, so she wasn't really sure what he was like. But he'd seemed nice enough during those few minutes before they'd wandered off, and if Ito was going to invite him, she wouldn't object. Again, those names Kaori and Taro came up, and Alice, who she vaugely remembered as the one from the springs that time they'd gone. "I guess," she replied, concerning the couples coming. It wouldn't be good to split them up for a ceremony that was for binding people together. "...who is Aya, though?" she asked curiously, then shrugged lightly. "But yeah, invitations and my dress..." She wrinkled her nose, realizing she'd have to go get one fitted now. But, it was worth it.

Ito sighed and started telling the story of Aya. "Ayame Nishimura is a half demon, formerly human. Her father and most of his dojo's disciples were killed by the demon that controlled Zetsu... They had fought and I met her at the crater... But come to think about it... I'm not sure if she'd really want to come though..." He said, remembering how she was so awkward just by having ice cream with him. "I wonder, I wonder..." He said aloud. "Well... We can be sure of everyone but Aya... Maybe Rin and Yuki? They'd probably want to see their friends married wouldn't they?" He said lightly. "And also... Don't worry.... Getting fitted for an outfit isn't that bad... I still want the white gown to be accented by something more like you though... Maybe give it black frill instead of the usual?" He asked curiously. Bridal gowns of white were overly traditional in his opinion. He though tthe color should represent the personality of the wearer.

Sam and Joshua both listened carefully, Sam staring at Ito and Josh drinking his soda while he did. He was extremely interested though. A half demon, but previously human? How did one undergo a change like that? Sure, Sam had changed, but that was vampires, not demons... He'd never seen a demon before, actually. But the story finished, and he decided not to ask. He just smiled lightly as the talk switched to that of dresses. "Oh," Sam blinked, in response to the Aya explanation. But other than that, she didn't really have much to say. So she too switched her attention to his next suggestion. "Well, Yuki and Rin might. By then they'd be all happiliy married and stuff themselves, right?" She grinned, knowing she was gonna be the one to do it, and then conitnued. "Huh, in that case... I might as well get a black one, don' ya think? With white frills or somethin'." She grinned and glanced to her dad, who just smirked knowingly, and then looked back to Ito.

"Or you could go tye-dye!" Ito said, spreading his fingers otu quickly and holding them up as if he were excited, acting the part very convincingly. "Nah... I'm just playing... Black with white frills would probably work really well on you Rose..." He said lightly. "So Josh... We have your permission and can expect your help with the wedding right? That all we need Sam?" He asked, knowing they pretty much had it dealt with. "Well, it was nice to meet you... Dad..." Ito said lightly, holding out his hand, knowing he was bound to be bear-hugged again.

Sam laughed aloud, unable to help herself at the tye-dye comment. She snuggled into him playfully and then straightened again, taking another sip of her mountain dew. She closed her eyes as she drank, but peeked one open to glance at her dad, who nodded his head eagerly. "Definitely. Jus' tell me what ta do." He was more than willing to cooperate in whatever way possible. When Ito held out his hand, the man stared at it for a moment, head tilting. But he suddenly grinned at the use of the word 'dad' and leaned forward like last time, wrapping Ito in a firm hug once more, however, this time he was careful of the wings. Sam nodded her head from her place on the couch, smiling in amusement. "Yeah, I think that's 'bout it."

Ito was glad the joke registered and Sam's laughter confirmed it. "Just spot us if we don't have enough money... Which I doubt will happen considering this one says she has enough to buy or build a mansion..." He said with a smile, indicating Sam with a nod of his head. He felt Josh hug him again and smiled, this time wrapping his arms around his new father. When he heard Sam's answer, he released the hug, smiling as he said his goodbyes before walking towards the door, ready to go outside and get on the motorcycle to bring Sam back to the school.

Joshua nodded his head, but cast Sam a stern look when the possibility of buying a mansion was mentioned. He certainly didn't approve of the way she'd come to own all of that money. But, he hadn't taken it away from her either. So he just sighed, standing straight after Ito had let go. "Sam, ya better not-" The girl raised her hands defensively, grinning back at him. "I'm not, I'm not," she assured him. "I'm runnin' a computer lab now. Anyway, I love ya, dad. We'll send ya somethin' in the mail soon." She walked over and hugged him tightly, and he hugged her back, before she slipped away and followed Ito outside, waving over her shoulder towards the man.
