mahii, headphones on, head bobbing to the beat of new music, almost missed the sound of the door. Yoyo, listening to the music from mahii's shoulder, squeaked and fluttered over to see who it was as mahii detangled herself from cords and pencils. She had been drawing again.

"who is it? OH! May! hello! wow...I've been so busy I haven't had time to drop by the society. Kagei is so handsome." she stopped as Yoyo landed on her head and stared at Kagei.

"Kagei Bigger..." she said, cocking her head to the side, trying to figure out what had happened to him. Then she gave up and grinned widely. She had missed her friend as well. "Ohh! Yoyo learn new words! Got Kagu from Kagei. Come see! Come see!!" She fluttered over and, though smaller than him still, managed to start dragging him by the hand to her area to see the plush penguin Kagei had left her


((sorry I've been gone...haven't really been online in 3 days...))



Yoyo led him over to a little curtained area near mahii's window. It was maybe 5 feet square and the gauzy cloth covering it from ceiling to floor was a light yellow, lending a glowing quality to the air as the sun shined through it. Younaei practically preened at Kagei's comment regarding her speech and proceeded to give him the grand tour of her "room" "This is my bed," she said, pointing at an orange pillow resting up on a small shelf near the floor. "I keep Kagu near it and play with him a lot. mahii gave me small table and chairs..so i color there a lot and read little books Lumin give me. I like "The Ugly Duckling" most of all. Do you wanna sit down?"

mahii raised an eyebrow at the little fen with the snippy tongue. "he's cute," she said to May. "He looks a lot like Ieta, Proli's fen. could that be Maine, her twin?" She paused and realized what may said, "a week!? she's gonna be a teen that soon?" and parental protectiveness sets in.



mahii grinned at May, "I'm sure she wouldn't mind. As long as it's a natural pose. She hates posing." mahii paused for a moment, "And only if I get a copy." mahii grinned widely. Yoyo had missed Kagei over the last week or so and was having a blast showing him around her "room."

"...and this is my bag. mahii kept me in it when I was a feather..and when I emerged she stuffed it with cotton and it's my pillow now." Yoyo smiled widely, now that the tour had concluded. She finally let go of Kagei's hand, done dragging him behind her tinyness and looked at him. "There! What do you want to do now?"



yoyo blinked at the flash. She looked over and saw May with a camera and frowned.

mahii knew that look. It was the look of, "do I get one?" and she smiled. 'i'll give you my copy, Yo."

Yoyo smiled widely at that and looked at kagei, "Now I have a picture of you to see everyday!" she grinned wider and grabbed his hand, "let's play!!"



((heehee. always sounds like people are just saying Yo! like..yo, wassup.))

Yoyo thought for a moment before releasing his hand again, "hide and seek could be fun..." she thought outloud. Tag was out of the question. Kagei was A LOT bigger than her now..and his wings looked like he could move really fast.

mahii chuckled at the two fen playing and deemed her room a safe enough place to let them be. Turning to May she asked, "Want to fen-watch some more, or would you like to come into the kitchen for a beverage or something?"



Yoyo grinned..even wider at Kagei's question. "It's what it sound like. Lumin taught me. One person hides, and the other tries to find them! If they find, then the other has to run or fly for base without getting tagged. base is...uh...that chair!" she said, pointing at a desk chair pushed into mahii's drafting table. "Do you wanna hide first? Or seek first?"

mahii took one last peek at the adorable pair before heading into the kitchen, "Well, I think they're doing well. Yoyo's really taken to Kagei as a friend. He was pretty much the first fen she met. Tea? coffee? soda, water, orange juice, guava juice, or ginger beer?((non alcoholic by the by. XD))



Yoyo stops and listens, hearing the squeaking in the room. She plays her own game of hide and seek and stops, staring at her pillow, "my..pillow is talking, Kagei...It hasn't done that afore.."



Yoyo laughed, not at Maine, but just because now she had TWO friends to play with. She stuck out a hand and said, "I'm Yoyo! Nice to meet you! wanna play hide and seek with Kagei and me?" She thought there was something kind of familiar about this other fen as she introduced herself. Then she re-explained the game to him.



Yoyo looked at Kagei, "how bout you look first?" then she fluttered over to Maine and whispered in his ear, "I can't even say my full name..." before fluttering off to find a place to hide herself.



Yo fluttered over to mahii's bookshelf and squeezed herself in an open space between mahii's research on Lilts. she stifled a giggle and waited for Kagei to start looking.

mahii handed May a ginger beer, 'it's a little...zesty. Tastes like liquid ginger really. Quite good."



Yoyo heard Maine's shout and stifled yet another giggle. This was the best part of the game, the suspense.

mahii laughed at May's initial reaction. "It took me 3 months to really get used to it. I liked it well enough, but I couldn't drink it without my tongue burning."

well journal..I really didn't do much today..so I'm going to give this page to Yo. She's been itching to write here.

wel mahiimommy (lumin call her that.) gav me this pege to rite in. I am very hapy that she did. I hav ben pratizing my riting and I have ben geting beter. mahiimommy sez she wil teech me puncuashun wen my speling get beter. She tot me the perud yestardey witch was very neet. It ends sentanses. Brasil was a differnt contry. mahiimommy has new famly their who loved me alot. I was hapy to come hom tho. I mised all the oder fen. Special like kagei and raidun. I miss ieta too.

Younaei: Younaei fluttered up the walkway in front of mahii, happy to be home. It had been a good day. As she waited for mahii to open the door, she noticed a little piece of paper at about her height. She took it down and read it and grinned from ear to ear. Then she took off into the sky, leaving mahii behind.She arrived at her desired destination and knocked quickly on the door.

Kagei: Kagei, having been sitting on May's newly dusted windowpane, sighed in the silence. His ears shot up, surprized, as he heard a light knocking on the front door. He lifted hismelf, using his newly grown adult wings to flap his way to the door, and peered through the peephole..."I don't believe it..." He grinned, excited, flew down to the door and gently twisted it with his feet until a crack was made big enough for him to peep his head out of. He froze, a grin imprinted on his lips, it was YoYo! Kagei pulled the door back, flying quickly to YoYo, he wrapped his arms around her and squeaked loudly. He was so happy to see her! "Oh, YoYo, is it really you?" He twirled the female through the air, smiling.

Younaei: Younaei grinned, spinning dizzily through the air, "KAGEI! I missed you soooo much!" she hugged him back as hard as she could. When she was settled back on the ground and had regained her balance she smiled widely. It had been much, much too long. Yoyo peered at Kagei intently, "whoa...you got big again..." She poked his arm in fun.

Kagei: Kagei blushed, still himself under his grown exterior, and nodded lightly. "Aw, come on, I'm not that big." ^__^= He pushed the door open lightly, causing it to open up a bodies length, and offered YoYo the first entrance. "Come in, we can talk inside."

Younaei: Yoyo fluttered over the door jam and landed lightly on the floor in Kagei's home. She could not...for the life of her, stop grinning like a mad-fen. Kagu still held a place of honor on her pillow in her room. He really had grown...."Kagei, how are you?" She asked, peering at the house she had been in long ago.

Kagei: Kagei shut the door slowly, the shock of seeing his long lost companion overflowing in his smile. "I've been fine, How have you been?" He walked towards her, smiling softly.

Younaei" Younaei scratches a tufted ear carefully, oddly a bit nervous around kagei now, "I've been bored out of my mind... mahiimommy's been busy at the castle...so I never get to get out. I'm not home a lot anymore. I missed it here terribly. And I missed you. Like I said." She grins and grabs onto Kagei's arm.

Kagei: Kagei's cheeks went pink, he smiled and scratched the back of his head nervously. He was too happy for words. "Well, I hope you won't be bored here, too." He smiled, allowing her to take his arm.

Younaei: Yo shook her head emphatically, "how could I be bored when I'm with my best best friend in the world?" She remembered playing hide and seek and getting stuck in a bookshelf for hours and laughed.

Kagei: Kagei grinned, leading yoYo to the couch, he paused nervously before sticking out both arms. "Want me to help you up?"

Younaei: She paused, about to respond that she could fly very well, thank you, but changed her mind, "sure!" she said. She stuck out her arms to help him balance her.

Kagei: Kagei smiled, feeling like quite the valiant soldier, and picked up YoYo. He carefully positioned her in his arms and used his wings to make hismelf at level with the cushions of the rather high couch. He placed her down, then patted down the fur on his arms and sat next to her, still smiling. "May redecorated." he said, not really knowing what else to say.

Younaei: Yo turned upside down on the couch and peered around, "it's pretty. what have you been doing lately?" She seemed at a loss of things to say, but her inner child wanted to play tag.

Kagei: "Nothing, really...I've been listening to music a lot. There's really nothing else to do...It's really quite lonely here." He sighed, placing her cheeks into his hands. "All I have is May through the day, without you, there's nobody else to be around." He sat up, smiling at YoYo with closed eyes.

Younaei: She wrinkled her nose in pleased reflex. He really was her greatest friend. He made her happy. Well..happier than...usual. Her eyes shifted sneakily to the left as she burrowed her face in his hands...then she thwacked his shoulder, "TAG! You're IT!" Then she took off, zipping to the other room. Her inner child won.

Kagei: Kagei was a bit taken back, Tag? He hadn't played this since he was a child! He stood, grinning, eyes slightly narrowed. "Oh, no, you don't!" he zipped after her, arms outstretched, tail wagging.

Younaei: She fluttered in a loop de loop and wiggled her feet at him teasingly, "Can't catch meeeEEEee!" she taunted. A chair loomed in front of her and she dodged nimbly.

Kagei: Kagei laughed lightly, nodding, "I can, too--I'm the superior tag player!" he zoomed faster, bouncing off the chair's cushion and launched directly for YoYo's tail.

Younaei: Yo squeaked, 'Just cause you're bigger!" she exclaimed, missing the back of the couch by mere millimeters. She pumped her wings harder, trying to keep her tail out of reach.

kagei: Kagei's fingers were only centimeters from YoYo's tail when. SMACK! He bumped face first into the couch, arms still sticking straight out, he slid down the couch onto the cushion and landed softly on his backside. he fell backwards, mouth open, limbs spread.

Younaei: Yo heard a dull thump and turned to see one of the funniest sights she'd ever seen. She covered her mouth to keep from laughing out loud and flew over to land next to Kagei's sprawled form, "Are you ok" An errant giggle escaped from her and she bent down to see if he wanted help up.

Kagei: Kagei stayed silent, except for a slight gurgling sound, his tail was thumping lightly. He seemed to be in a daze. @__@ -drool-

Younaei: Yo stopped laughing and knelt down beside him, "no..really..are you ok?" She shook his shoulder gently and frowned, "kagei?"

kagei: kagei opened one eye, let out a small snort of amusement, and went limp again.

Younaei: Younaei's face set in a �.� and she poked Kagei's arm hard, "that's not nice!"

Kagei: Kagei rolled over, laying on his stomach, and began to laugh. He sat up, turning to face yoYo, and wiped one eye. "Do you have to be so concerned for me?" asked Kagei, still slightly chuckling, he awaited a positive answer just to feel the butterflies arise in his stomach.

Younaei: Younaei rolled over on his back, squishing him a little, back to back for retribution, "of course I do! What would I do if you got hurt?"

Kagei: Kagei snorted lightly, "Laugh?" He smiled, placing his chin on his hands, he got butterflies when he felt YoYo's fur on his. ^___^

Younaei: Yo snorted in return, "that's only if you don't really get hurt." She ruffled his hair with her right hand. She was rather enjoying herself.

Kagei: Kagei closed one eye as a strand of hair blew over his forehead. "Well, what if I were to somehow fall of the couch? What would you do then?" he dragged himself a bit closer to the edge of the couch, amused, Yo still on his back.

Younaei: Yoyo squirmed, "i'd make sure you were fine...then shove you off the floor!" she paused...that didn't come out right. She noticed that they were getting closer to the edge, "hey!"

Kagei: Kagei grinned, rolling slightly closer to the edge, causing YoYo to slide off his back and onto the couch. "Yo, help me, I'm going to faaaall..." he leaned half his body over the couch, letting his arms hang loosely.

Younaei: Younaei, the very gullible fenthry, "NO! do't fall!" She grabbed him and pulled back, overbalancing and falling.

Kagei: Kagei let out a surprised, "Woah!" and reached his hands out, attempting to grab YoYo by the wrists, he dug his feet into the cushion to gain stability.

Younaei: Gravity took hold and Younaei toppled. She landed and grinned, "i'm a dork. It's official."

Kagei: Kagei grinned, placing his hands around Yo's to help pull her up, "Hehe...I'm the one who freaked out over a 3 inch fall." xD

Younaei: Yoyo stood and very regally she regarded Kagei. Impulsively she kissed his cheek, "reward for saving me from the couch-cushion of death." Then she blushed and stared at the ceiling.

Kagei: Kagei touched his cheek lightly, staring at his feet, even as an adult he was still new to romance. "Heh, what did you expect. I am your night in shining armor, after all." He laughed, shaking away his blushing.

Younaei: Yo grinned, "nah. you're my knight in splotchy armor. It's better." Then she jumped up and hovered a few inches off the couch, "whatcha wanna do now?" when she was nervous her words started slurring.

Kagei: Kagei looked down at his fur, yep, splotched...he grinned a bit, then looked up. "I'm not quite sure." His cheek burned were YoYo had left her kiss. He longed for one on his otehr cheek to match the first. "Hmm..." he paused, eyes cast downward. "I don't suppose your curious about Maine..."

Younaei: "Actually...come to think of it, where is he? Is he doing well?" It had been awhile since she had seen the younger fenthry.

kagei: Kagei's face was whiped of emotion, except for a slight lingering of curiosity. "Well, May has him...he's in a birdcage...in her closet. He stays in there, locked up, with paper and a pencil...and a mirror. That's about it."

Younaei: Younaei's face melts into a frown, "why's he in a cage? That shouldn't happen..." She hugs herself closely. Cages looked so lonely.

Kagei: "He's...he's not really normal anymore." He paused, he shouldn't talk this way about Maine, but there was no other way to explain it. And he trusted YoYo not to tell anyone. "Maine is a little crazy sometimes. He stays in the dark all day, listening to creepy music. he draws weird pictures, too. Sometimes he talks to them...he's been this way ever since he ran off to find Sakura again. I guess she said something to him that really messed him up. He came home and started having weird reams about scorpions."

Younaei: She shivered. She couldn't help it, but a wave of sadness overcame her, "is there anyway to help him?" she asked, not believing that there was an answer.

Kagei: Kagei felt a stab of pity for his brother, as well. Ever since he emerged, he had never felt a moment of normality. First, he was too shy, then he became too tough to cover his stutter, then he became violent..now, the poor fen was insane. "I doubt it...I talked to him for the first time in weeks a few days ago. he said that he wanted to see his sister, he wanted to ask her to talk to the scorpion for him. It was really weird."

Younaei: "oh...I hope he gets better...I had fun playing hide and seek with him. He...I haven't been around in so long." the changes all around her threatened to swamp her. Younaei didn't do so well when others were hurting.

Kagei: Kagei noticed a changei n Yo's behavior, she was uncomfortable, and he could easily sense it. He felt bad, making her feel so down all of the sudden, and hugged her gently. "It's alright, YoYo, I'm sure he'll snap out of it...he does change form time to time.." he doubted it..."Come on, I bet he'd love to talk to you. Maybe he remembers you from when he was smaller..."

Younaei: She clung to Kagei for a while, leaning on the warmth he was offering. She clung to him, breathing slowly and calmly. Yo never knew why she got this way when others were hurting, but it was good to have someone there for once. She composed herself and nodded into Kagei's chest, "yeah...let's go see him."

kagei: Kagei took her hand gently, then led Yo through the long hallway of may's house. Long to a fen, atleast. "Just to let you know, he's not the same as he was when we were smaller..." He continued walking, it seemed to take ages, but finally Kagei stopped in front of a large, black door. The walls, grey and pale, were outshined by the large door. kagei pushed it open, no need for the doorknob since it was never closed, and entered the dark room slowly.

Younaei: Yo followed, clinging to Kagei's hand both in fear and because it was so comforting. She loved the feel of his hand wrapped around hers. He was an adult now...and she..was still just a teenager.

Kagei: Kagei gripped Yo's hand, he felt that string of butterflys in his stomach again, it made him feel like her gaurdian. He closed the door slowly, and looked up. High in the cieling, dangling like a lone shadow, was a metal bird cage. A thin handkerchief, stained and black, was laid delicatly over the bars. "There he is." Kagei whispered, he was tense. "We'll have to fly up there...I'm ready when you are."

Younaei: younaei nodded, "I'm ready."

Kagei: Kagei smiled, gulping down his tention, and began the anxiety-riddled flight straight up into the darkness of the corner closet. He stopped when he reached a small, add-on to the birdcage, an empty match box, fenthry-sized as a doormat. Kagei waited for Yo to reach the box.

Younaei: Yoyo landed gingerly on the box and peered toward the cage, head tilted to the side.

Kagei: Kagei smiled, taking YoYo's hand again, he pushed the curtain-like handkerchief out of the way. Maine sat in the corner of the cage on his flat bed, which was stationed on the ground of the cage. He was cross legged, head down, he was an older teen now...He looked as if he were sleeping. Kagei knocked once on the wire of the cage, Maine's eyes shot open, his tail stiff and ears outstretched. he sniffed a few times, recognized Kagei's scent, and settled. Eerie pictures of half-drawn bodies, decapitations, and wirey scribbles of destructions littered the cage floor.

Younaei: Younaei did her best not to shy away from the pictures littering the cage, or the changed Maine. She waited for Kagei to make the first move, afraid of setting off the fen she used to know.

Kagei: Kagei looked own at YoYo, he appeared hurt on the inside, his love for his brother was somewhere underneath all the hate he had built up for Maine's behavior. He turned to face Maine, put on a fake smile, his voice came slow and gentle. "Brother...?" Maine was still, though his ears twitched, he was silent. "Are you awake?" Maine was still silent, but his tail flicked once...twice...he did not respond.

Younaei: She peered into the cage, pity flooding her eyes, whether or not that was what Maine wanted, "hello, Maine. It's Younaei." She said, stepping forward.

Kagei: Maine was still. He did not move for what seemed like minutes. Suddenly, he stood, completely still. His eyes shifted slowly, they were very wide, he palced them on Yoyo. kagei winced, shading away form his brother's stare. he held YoYo tighter.

Younaei: Yo shivered. Something was very wrong with Maine. She squeezed Kagei's hand and addressed Maine again, "Do you remember me? We played hide and seek..."

Kagei: Maine's eyes, still wide, shyed away from YoYo. Though, in those seconds they remained focussed on her, they seemed to dig painful holes into her. He stared at the floor, still quiet. Slowly, he allowed a smile to creep onto his lips, it spread until it seemed quiet frightening and he let out a small yelp. A laugh, of sorts. Kagei comforted YoYo with a soft, reassuring smile. "I think he remembers." Maine's eyes receded to a normal size, still smiling.

Younaei: Her fear receding, and the pity growing, Younaei moved a little closer to the wall of the cage. One hand still gripped Kagei's tightly, but the other rested on the edge of the cage, "what can i do to help, Maine?"

Kagei: Maine stayed quiet, the smile left his face, it was obvious he wanted to return to his bed..but he didn't. As if watching a clay figure spring to life, Maine's body moved with unyeilding speed and odd, clanky movements. He reached the cage, watching YoYo's hand. Kagei felt a bit uncomfortable, "Maine?" Maine let out a small creak as he cleared his throat, face not changing, he held out his hand slowly. "Let me see." he wanted YoYo's hand. His voice was unstable, yet at the same time, oddly tranquil.

Younaei: Younaei backed up a little, confused, "what does he want? She pulled her hand off the cage.

Maine: Kagei shrugged, holding Yo closer. "Maine, what are you going to do with her hand?" Maine was quiet, sitting cross-legged. he bit his lip. "That." he pointed to YoYo's hand, his still outstretched. "I wanna hold, too." He had notice the way Kagei held her hand. Kagei was a bit untrusting, though he did not expect Maine to do any harm. "What do you think, Yo?"

Younaei: Younaei swallowed, "if he..if he tries something you'll save me...right?" she asked. Something in Maine's request seemed harmless, but she couldn't be sure.

Kagei: Kagei nodded, "Ofcourse I would." He moved closer to the cage, giving Maine a warning glare. One that said, 'Hurt her and I hurt you.' Maine ignored Kagei's glance and smiled brightly, mouth open, this smile was much more cheerful. "Give me..." he reached for her hand.

Younaei: Younaei tentatively reached her other hand through the cage to Maine's waiting one and grasped his hand loosely, sitting down next to the cage, dragging Kagei with her.

kagei: Kagei stayed close to YoYo, he placed his arm gently to her waste, holding her that was as so to tug her away if Maine tried anything. Maine held her hand limply at first, then gently squeezed, within seconds he had cradled her hand gently in his and was tracing her fingers with his. He was facinated. He looked at YoYo, swallowed, and licked his lips. "Hmm..." he said, as if thinking, and continued holding her hand. He smiled, eyes closed, he seeemed happy. Kagei smiled, too, to make Maine feel as though he was being a 'good boy.'

Younaei: Yoyo smiled as well, as much from Maine looking happy as from his fingers tickling hers. She gave his hand a reassuring squeeze and smiled at Kagei, "this seems ok."

Kagei: Kagei was pleased. "Maybe he likes you...he's like a child, isn't he?" Kagei seemed slightly sad for Maine's childlike condition. Suddenly, Maine dropped YoYo's hand, and cralwed closer to the cage. He palced his hands on the bars, watching Kagei hold YoYo by the waste. His face scrunched, tears filled his eyes slowly, and then ran down his cheeks. He whined, throwing himself dramatically on the floor of his cage and crying into his arms. Kagei was startled, "Maine? Maine!" he shouted, seeing if Maine would lsiten.

Younaei: Yo's face crumpled in sadness again and she called to the crying fenthry, "Maine! Maine! what's wrong!?"

Kagei: Maine lifted his face, tear staining his cheeks, he held his head within his palms and stood up, thrashing wildly about his cage, screaming in a high pitched tone, crying and wailing. kagei picked up YoYo from her sititng spot and pulled her back, still watching, he was too horrified to turn away. What was Maine doing?

Younaei: Younaei had to turn. He had been so...ok when she had seen him last. What had happened to him? She buried her face in Kagei's chest and a few tears leaked from the corners of her eyes, "why? why does this have to happen?"

I0Love0Nerds: Maine screamed louder, he acted as if something was causing him pain. He beat at his head with closed fists. kagei had seen enough, he kissed YoYo's forehead and placed her gently on the matchbox. He used his nails to pick at both locks on Maine's door and pushed it open, closing it again quickly. "Maine! Maine, stop it!" he shouted, authoritivly. Maine continued to thrash, crying pathetically, tears flew form his eyes. He moaned sadly. kagei held his brother in place, shouting, "Maine! Maine, stop thrashing! hold still!" He felt a burning in his eyes. "Maine, It's okay, I'm here!" Maine stopped pounding at his head and threw himself into Kagei's arms, silent, tears staining his cheeks, his eyes wide. he breathed heavily, holding Kagei.

Younaei: Younaei's hand reached idly up to her forehead, a blush creeping into her cheeks. Kindergarten level she was still at. She watched as Kagei held Maine and smiled. Being alone couldn't have helped the younger fen, Without asking she entered the cage and wrapped arms around Maine from the other side, forming a protective Fenthry cocoon with Kagei.

Kagei: Maine shivered when YoYo touched him and, as if he hadn't suffered that outburst, he pushed himself away from Kagei and turned to YoYo...he took her hand again and led her away from Kagei, taking her to his bed, where he kept a newly finished drawing. "Look!" he said, happy. "Look...here." he pointed to the picture. There was a pink outline and a black scorpion.

Younaei: Yo looked back at Kagei , but then peered at the drawing, "that...that looks like sasori's mark. He was a feather at the same time I was...it's very good, Maine." She patted his back gently and smiled.

Kagei: Kagei watched Maine, he had never shown anyone his drawings... Maine smiled, the name made his ears twitch. He nodded, sitting, and looked at Kagei. "Sasori." he said, petting the picture. "kagei?" Kagei walked over, placing his hand on Maine's shoulder. Maine smiled brighter, he held up the picture. "Kagei, tell Ieta that I would like to see her?" Kagei whimpered a bit. "I will." Maine had asked him to do so many times before, he never seemed to remember asking, though. Maine looked at the picture again, then back to YoYo. "Do you know him?" He talked of Sasori, the pink and scorpion marked fen.

Younaei: Yo nodded slightly, "I didn't get to know him as well as some fen," she looked at Kagei briefly, "but we were in the society a couple times at the same time."

Kagei: Maine's mouth became a line, his eyes were blank, tears still welled in them. He remembered when he first saw Sasori. He never said hello, but he wanted to so badly. "I think I like him..a lot." said Maine, in a happy tone. "I like.. this." He pointed to the scorpion. Kagei blushed, was his broter admitting affections for another male?

Younaei: Younaei smiled, "it is a beautiful mark." she agreed. Then a thought snapped into her head, "maybe...maybe I could ask mahiimommy to make a drawing for you!" she said excitedly. "something to hang up that'll make you happy!" It was an idea at any rate.

kagei: Maine smiled, leaning against the cage wall. "That would be...lovely." He stacked his drawing with a pile of others, most of the others were faces with stitched mouths and red streams of tears staining their faces. He looked back at Kagei, smiling. "Brother...I like YoYo...Do you?" he placed his face on his matress, curling up, staring at kagei. Kagei blushed a bit, walking towards YoYo, he placed his hand on her shoulder.

Younaei: Yoyo placed an hand on Kagei's and smiled brightly. She'd ask Maine what kind of drawing he'd want later. She looked at Kagei's red face and grinned.

Kagei: Kagei sat on his knees, a bit reluctant, but placed his head on YoYo's shoulder anyways. He watched as maine stood up and hugged his knees. "I don't like it in here, Kagei. I want to see my sister." Kagei felt a cringe of sadness in his heart, which quickly passed when Maine smiled.

Younaei: Younaei smiled for Kagei and Maine, "I'm sure we can ask Ieta to come here. I bet she'd love to see her brother." She sighed. glad that Maine was coming around, if even a little.

mahii sat in the kitchen, foot tapping impatiently. "where did that fen go?" she wondered aloud to herself. Hours passed and she dozed off in the chair. She awoke to the creaking sound of the window that Younaei used to get in. She jumped up and rounded on her errant child, "YO! where have you BEEN?!" She asked loudly, causing Younaei to jump.

Yo guiltily looked at the floor, "Kagei's," she whispered, before fluttering up the stairs as fast as she could.
