The following is for the American Edition of The Goblet of Fire, hardback copy (the only one I don't have a book jacket for crying ).
Page 7: Voldemort's telling Wormtail that he's going to need to milk Nagini the snake. How the HELL do you milk a snake???
Page 10: Voldemort says that his "faithful" servant will rejoin them. Is he talking about Crouch...or perhaps Snape? ^_^
Page 63: On this page I wondered...how do people see the Quidditch World Cup that don't go to the game. Do they televise it somehow or something...like, for wizards? Or wizard radio or something?
Page 86: Bode is mentioned when Mr. Weasley's pointing out other people from the ministry.
Page 151: Mundungus Fletcher's mentioned again. ^_^
Page 173: Something on this page made me think when Sir Nicholas was mentioned. Where do ghosts get their clothes? Or do they even change their clothes at all?
Page 174: Here again I wondered about Dennis and Colin, both being muggle-born, how'd they both end up in Hogwarts, when Lily was the only one who went out of her family and Petunia wasn't?
Page 188: Y'know, I feel that the Triwizard Tournament should've been open for 16 and 17 year old students...just to add some possible variety, y'know?
Page 194: If Hermione really appreciated House-Elves, she'd just accept that they like what they do, and they don't like being paid. Although I do agree that people should be less mean to House-Elves (like how the Malfoys acted to Dobby), she shouldn't try to free them all. Doesn't she know how much work would NOT get done around Hogwarts?
Page 198: This is where Hagrid's getting them to raise the Blast-Ended Skrewts. I thought for a moment...did Hagrid perhaps raise them for the last bit of the tournament, and killed two birds with one stone and also made it a class project?
Page 199: Trelawney says to Harry, "I fear the thing you dread will indeed come to pass...and perhaps sooner than you think..." Is she perhaps predicting Voldemort's return, or the death of Sirius?
Page 207: "Moody"'s going to have a chat with Snape. Does Snape know his true identity you think? Or was he oblivious to Voldemort's plans at the moment?
Pge 222: It's kinda funny here. Ron and Harry are trying to predict fake stuff for Trelawney, and Ron gives Harry a suggestion for one: "Why don't you get stabbed in the back by someone you thought was a friend?" Little does Harry know Ron's about to do just that after his name comes out of the goblet. sweatdrop Or well...it's close to stabbing him in the back I guess...either way they become not-friends for a while. sweatdrop
Page 224: Had Hermione gone with the longer name for S.P.E.W., it would've been S.O.A.O.F.M.C.C.C.T.L.S. rofl
Page 258: Does Karkaroff know who Moody really is as well? Or no? Also later on this page, I think Moody's scaring Karkaroff so much because, being Crouch, he's disgusted at Death Eaters too afraid to return to their master.
Page 262: Okay, it's all fine and dandy that the Beauxbatons and Durmstrang students are at Hogwarts...but how do they do their studies? Do they take classes too, or do they learn with the headmasters in their lodging? Because it doesn't seem right for them to just take a year off to watch a tournament. confused
Page 269: Did Karkaroff perhaps bewitch the Goblet of Fire to chose Krum? It never says, but it implies it in the movie...
Page 276: I know Snape hates Harry and stuff, but even with Occlumency he can see that Harry's not lying about entering the tournament. 3nodding And Dumbledore knows as well, so he can get mad at Snape. ^_^
Page 277: Do you think McGonagall and Snape don't like each other? She throws a rather nasty look at him in this scene.
Page 306: It's interesting here because Rita Skeeter asks Harry in the interview: "How do you think [your parents] would feel if they knew you were competing in the Triwizard Tournament?" If they were alive, he wouldn't be competing at all.
Page 323: Colin and Dennis are trying to bewitch the "Support Cedric Diggory" badges to say "Support Harry Potter", but it's not working. Why don't they just go to Fred and George and ask them to make brand new ones? I'm SURE the twins would be up to creating something like that. 3nodding
Page 340: Again here it mentions Cedric's in 6th year, but he's 17. How??? gonk
Page 343: It's strange...here Harry's talking to "Moody." Moody says: "Oh that's my Foe-Glass. See them out there, skulking around? I'm not really in trouble until I see the whites of their eyes. That's when I open my trunk." Now in the end of the book, it's Dumbledore, McGonagall and Snape in the mirror, and the trunk is opened. Why would he have said that?
Page 347: I thought of something here. I know the first task worked out as planned and all, but to take no risks, why didn't Hermione get Harry's Invisibility Cloak, stuff the Firebolt inside of it, and leave it somewhere hidden behind the stands, so that Harry could summon it easier? Or would they have considered that cheating?
Page 368: I thought it was stupid when most of the class ran into Hagrid's hut to hide from the skrewts. Isn't his hut flammable? Malfoy's an idiot.
Page 371: I had a thought here about something (and not sure if I mentioned it earlier). Can wizarding families live in Hogsmeade, and if so, do their kids just walk up to Hogwarts and visit whenever they feel? Or no?
Page 374: H.E.L.F. would sound a lot better than S.P.E.W. 3nodding Y'know? It sounds like help...and elf...helf. ^_^
Page 389: Harry's an idiot. Why didn't he just ask Ginny out for the ball right off, and Ron ask Hermione? They're both good looking girls. Or is their ego too much to handle?

Page 426: Snape tells Karkaroff that he's staying at Hogwarts. Is this perhaps his orders from Voldemort, or from Dumbledore? Because I don't think Voldemort knew he was still a Death Eater, if you know what I mean. ^_^
466: Y'know, I find it sad that Harry completely ignores Myrtle whenever she asks if he'll visit her. I'd visit her just to keep her company...she's probably so lonely. crying
Page 468: Why on earth doesn't Dumbledore just chuck Peeves out anyway, without Filch's complaints? Is there a reason Peeves lives in Hogwarts? neutral
Page 472: Y'know, Snape's making it kinda obvious that he's got a Dark Mark on his arm...with all the clutching he does to it in the scene. xd
Page 477: I think Moody also took the Marauder's Map because he didn't want Harry to see Bartemius Crouch Jr. where Alastor Moody should've been. sweatdrop
Page 486: Again I wonder why none of the main characters decided to become illegal animagi...that would've been cool. ^_^
Page 498: Harry forgot the knife Sirius had given him. Does he ever consider what he has in his trunk that he never uses? It's the same deal with Sirius' mirror, which could've well saved Sirius' life. crying
Page 530: Ron says that despite Dumbledore's brilliance, a Death Eater might be able to fool him. Perhaps. Because of Snape. But somehow I don't think so. sweatdrop
Page 548: Okay...Ron and Harry both have watches (though Harry's broke). Now, don't muggle appliances with electricity or batteries go haywire around Hogwarts? Then how do watches work?
Page 560: Dumbledore uses the Patronus charm. It made me think, what's his patronus?

Page 634: Y'know, it's really sad...had Harry been selfish and took the triwizard cup on his own, Cedric wouldn't have died. I wonder if that guilt weighs upon him at all later?
Page 651: Okay, here's a tasty bit...Voldemort's in the graveyard and says: "And here we have six missing Death Eaters...three dead in my service. One, too cowardly to return...he will pay. One, who I believe has left me forever...he will be killed, of course...and one, who remains my most faithful servant, and who has already reentered my service." I'm trying to figure out...Okay the one too cowardly is obviously Karkaroff. The one who has left him forever...possibly Snape...or not? And then the one who's reentered...it's most likely Crouch...but it made me think for a minute about...what if the most faithful is in fact Snape? Of course I'd like to doubt it, but you never know...
Page 690: Crouch really tried to blame Snape for a lot of things. I guess he didn't realize how faithful Snape possibly still is to Voldemort. sweatdrop
Page 696: This was interesting. Harry is talking to Dumbledore and says: "He said my blood would make him stronger than if he'd used somebody else's. He said the protection my --- my mother left in me --- he'd have it too. And he was right --- he could touch me without hurting himself, he touched my face." And then it says, "For a fleeting instant, Harry thought he saw a gleam of something like triumph in Dumbledore's eyes." Now...exactly why would this be mentioned do you suppose???
Page 698: Sirius has his face in his hands after Harry tells the story. Is he crying, or just really worried?
Page 708: If Fudge had probably listened to Dumbledore's requests, he'd still have his job in book six and would be well remembered for taking the right actions. 3nodding But no, he decides to ignore it and be an idiot, and eventually lose his job.
Page 711: I had a thought here...it'd be really nice if somehow Mr. Weasley became Minister of Magic in book seven. xd heart
Page 713: It seemed odd to me that here Harry didn't recognize Miss Figg's name mentioned...
Page 713: Here's another something interesting...Dumbledore's talking to Snape: "Severus, you know what I must ask you to do. If you are ready...if you are prepared..." I think he's asking Snape to lie to Voldemort and pretend to be on the bad side. Snape can lie to Voldemort with Occlumency, he's really good at it! So I have reason to believe that Dumbledore was well aware of his involvement in book six and...well, I'll save the rest of those suspicions for my notes in that book...So to me Snape's double-playing everyone but I think his true alliance is with the good side...
Page 720: Snape glances at Harry and has a really "sour and unpleasant" look. Perhaps it's because of what he's being told to do by pretending to be on Voldemort's side? sweatdrop
Page 726: Okay this is what got me...they're going home and they're getting on the carriages. Shouldn't Harry have seen the thestrels??? I mean, he saw Cedric die, so why didn't he see the thestrels pulling the carriages then, instead of at the beginning of book five?

Oh snap. I've read through what you have said about the other books, and though you have some good points, I don't feel like reading through all that again...
I have this feeling that Harry is going to DIE in this next book though.

mokubahv Taylor_Highwind Page 57: Mr. Weasley is fondling over Hermione's Muggle parents. He notices they're exchanging money. So is this how Muggle borns get wizard money? By transferring pounds (or euro or whatever it is) into galleons and such? But then what about Muggle born orphans, or wizard orphans, that have no money at all? neutral I'm guessing they would get a loan from the school or something.

I just remembered.
Voldemorty-Voldemort was an orphan and the school gave him a loan. 3nodding

in PoA Sirius was held on the 7th floor, 13th window from the right of the west tower...
probably some other stuff i can't think of right now...
