I've started reading The Art of Happiness by the Dalai Lama and some other guy (can't remember his name and I'm too lazy to go and get the book).

That's fascinating. The Buddhists that are in our city (I think) are Mahayana.

I believe in the ways of the Tibetan Buddhists, but I think I classify as "Jedi-Witness" or "Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster".

I actually got Universal Unitarianism first, which strikes me as odd since I don't believe in one God being.
Mahayana Buddhism came 4th, seemingly because my feminist views differ from those of traditional Buddhists.

Amethyst_Crystal That's fascinating. The Buddhists that are in our city (I think) are Mahayana. I wouldn't know where to find a Buddist Temple in our area. There might be one within 40 miles of me. Also I know of only one small synagogue in the town where I work. But there's a big one in the town next to the one I live in.

A stupa is being built just outside of town and the Dalai Lama was here to bless the site. It's not unusual to pop into the grocery store and be shopping along side monks.

I also got Neo Pagan. LOL. Hell, I don't like Mormons, but I showed the thing to my now ex-penpal and proved that I'd have more chance of being even a Mormon than a protestant (she's a baptist, but as far as I'm concerned, all religions who have "God" as their god are the same.

Yes, it sounds cool. It was weird, I'd never even heard of Neo-pagans till i took the test.
I know what you mean! When I volunteered with my little brother at Atisha Gifts, they'd come in and shop... Some of the visiting monks often wonder around down the street. The seem nice. It's cool that they only speak when it's required. other times, they just smile at you. They don't preach at all. 4laugh
