Fox Boy XD CeCeT_nekogurl Mr. Ska I consider those attention scams... They still your attention... When I do giveaway threads I usually ask people not to give thumbs up because I don't want to seem like those people who just do giveaways to be "cool" and get attention... A bunch of idiots if you ask me.. And I really don't see the point of banks... Seriously.
I wouldn't want a giveaway thumbed up because the wrong kinds of people spam it up, then it's moved into the CB.
All because a couple nOObs.
Ruins it for everyone else.
Well the Gaian-made banks are mostly to give you intrest on your sitting gold.
But usually it's not a whole lot unless you have hundreds of thousands of gold to put in up front.
I'm not too fond with the fact that it's mere Gaian members running them, maybe if it was a mod.
Then I could see people willing to trust them with their gold.
But just a member?
Nah.
I think I'll just keep to the hope that Gaian will open its own bank soon.
Yeah, right.That reminds me of another fad. People using japanese words with english, like "That's so kawaii." I loathe that. I KNOW D<
I didn't know what that word meant till I gave out to one.

I don't like when they attempt to understand a whole lango in one word and they can't even pronounce half the words they come across, let alone know the true meaning behind it. >_<;
I'm never mixed lango's like that, I usually try to keep them seperate. o_O;;

Fox Boy XD One of the oldest ones is giveaways, not the fad, it's semi-old, but giveaways, atleast successful ones back in the day are/were rare. Now you see every noob and its grandma "claiming" to giveaway items and have page contests with the worst prizes. Asking for donations and such to fund it. I may be a hypocrite, and by that, I mean I have a little thing at the bottom of my giveaway saying donations are accepted and appreciated and the like, but I usually just let them rot in my bank because I'm far too lazy to accept them. But everyong else would have the biggest red letters asking for donations, and it would be the first thing in their post, if you ask for donations for your giveaway, then it's not your giveaway if you aren't supplying the goods, you're just a middle man getting all the glory. x] I never did any of those lucky.
I'm too much of a skeptic to believe in those.

The biggest fad I see in the GD currently is the whole "Prommie" talk. It sparks a ton of replies and secretely I think everyone wants to be a prommie so those are instant attention grabbers. And very annoying. Many of these "prommies" don't even want to be one.
