.::Ebony says::. I can't say I can really refute any of your points, Katie. They make perfect sense, and I totally agree.
But like I said, the process (of abortion) is the same. The ending is the same.
Is one process (pain vs. no pain) more humane than the other? Definitely.
But the abortion process is still inhumane within itself, regardless of how it's carried out, as well as the result.
Edit!
I'm aware that no one was stating that a painless abortion (for the child) justifies what an abortion is in this guild; that comment was directed at those who think that abortion that involves no pain whatsoever to the child is perfectly okay. .::[/Ebony]::.

Sorry sweatdrop
But I agree with you. People who say it's okay when it's painless don't make much sense. If "It can't feel anything," is an excuse to kill anything, I can drug someone before killing them and get away with it. It's emotional.
But I still think it's worse when people are causing pain. It makes it harder on someone.

You know, I find it funny that even serial killers receive less pain in their execution than these fetuses do. I mean, seriously. We don't even use the electric chair anymore, and they deserve it much more than the fetus, who hasn't done anything.

Now, do they do that, or are they just allowed to do it?

They keep it legal. I heard they use it for criminals who have commited extremly depreaved acts, like serial rapists, mass murderes, terrorists, etc.

Tiger of the Fire They keep it legal. I heard they use it for criminals who have commited extremly depreaved acts, like serial rapists, mass murderes, terrorists, etc. IIRC, you may choose to be hanged instead of killed in another way, but they can't force you to die by hanging because it's cruel and unusual punishment. I remember one guy asked to be hanged because he knew he was so heavy he'd break the rope and survive. Quote: You know, I find it funny that even serial killers receive less pain in their execution than these fetuses do. That's debateable. The electric chair is usually very painful and traumatic. In gas chambers you suffocate. Even lethal injection is painful, because you're not anesthetized when you suffer a massive heart attack, just paralyzed so no one has to see you convulse and puke up blood. These are fully developed humans dying. Fetuses may not even have a cerebrum yet.

although i agree with you, these grown humans have commited crimes deemed bad enough to be killed for. feti cannot preform such an act, touching someone is not a capital crime.
