"I'm Medicated...
All I know is that, where I live, there's a QLGBT center somewhere downtown. ♥ When I'm allowed to travel alone, I'm going there. I have it all mapped out how to get there on my computer. redface
I only have a normal therapist, and I probably won't be able to get a trans therapist until I'm older, and that would only be for T and surgery. I love my therapist I have right now, but I haven't seen her in ages. I don't have regular appointments. I make them when I need them. D=
I should make one with her for an update.
...How are you?"

.six-speed.[.tranny.] I can't find a TG therapist in Illinois except for in Chicago. . . three hours away. sad I was having the same problem for some time, except I'm in florida. so I started to dial up therapists that I saw on a general therapist listing site and I asked the if they had ever dealt with trans clients. I only called the ones that had experience with gay and lesbian issues, and after 2 or 3 I found the one I'm with right now. and she's really one of the best I've been to so far.

.six-speed.[.tranny.] Ugh. . . I see my [["normal"]] therapist today. . . And I'm trying to work up the courage to bring it up. I haven't been able to for the past three months. . . But maybe this time. I brought it up with my therapist 3 sessions ago (I've already been going to therapy now for a good many years for other issues), but haven't had the courage to bring it up since. She said she followed a case of MtF transexuality while she was in training, but never FtM. Though she spoke nothing of needing to see a specialist (at this point at least). Though I haven't had the nerve to bring it up since.. I've been meaning to bring it up again. It's still hard to talk about a lot of the time.

I live in smalltown Nova Scotia, but I still managed to find a few people to talk to. :] My doctor booked me an appointment with a really charming therapist, and although she has a tendency to make really over-dramatic sympathetic faces/gestures, I love talking to her. Plus, she gave me the number for the provincial LGBT Youth Project, and the man in charge of councelling is FTM. =D
