lowering his gaze to her feet, " well if you wouldnt mind asking him ... you probably know him much better then I ... " he was somewhat embarrassed to be asking her to ask teil something like that, but she offered so he hoped she wouldnt mind. Malek still wasnt sure abot alot of the people here in the Palace, he only started really coming here on a regular basis a few years ago. before it was only once and a while with his parents before they died.
" so you can use your Aerokinesis to basically create a weapon from air? now thats pretty interesting ... pretty cleaver if you ask me ... even when your unarmed your armed hehe" he smirked raising his head up to eye level again but not looking to hers, he turned and looked out over the lake. " no i dont have anywheres else to be ... i just didnt notice how much time has past while training... it didnt feel like it was so late. " he turned back and smiled then walked towards the edge of the roof. he sat down letting his feet hang off the edge.

“Of course” Seraphina replied with a light smile, rather charmed by Malek’s sudden bout of shyness. “We encounter each other often, and I shall be sure to ask him upon out next meeting” she added quickly, tucking a stray ivory lock of hair back behind her ear. “It is rather a handy talent isn’t it” Seraphina mused, trying to catch the hybrid’s eye despite his efforts to evade her gaze. “In time, once Teil has trained and developed your Aerokinetical ability, and if you wish too, I can train you to harness the air as a weapon” the celestial offered casually, giving Malek the choice as to which path he wanted his training to take.
Lingering behind a moment longer, Seraphina turned and followed the hybrid; seating herself beside him and allowing her limbs to dangle beside his. “You’ve been working hard, it is little wonder that time seems to move so swiftly” the young woman replied softly, giving a light nod.

" i really appreciate it ... i really would have trouble bringing myself to ask him seeing as i dont know him all that well ... " he lowered his gaze to the water, staring contently at the moon and stars reflecting in the lake. hilding his hand up to just below eye level, he clenched a fist then slowly opened it. " the control of the air around you ... what a feat " he smirked and looked over at her as she sat down.
" its because i had a good teacher, you motivate me to work harder... its odd ... i feel as if i have to try harder to make sure i get it right, although there is really no pressure in order to do so. " he gave her a small smile placing his hand back down on the edge of the roof. looking back towards the water, he gave a pleasant sigh and leaned forward a bit leaning his arms on his legs.

“So is that a yes?” Seraphina asked, an amused laugh passing her lips at Malek’s continual awe. “I’m sure you have witnessed far more exceptional abilities throughout your training, in the demon clan perhaps?” the celestial broached craftily, expression retaining an air of innocent curiosity. Although the celestials suspected there were extraordinarily powerful demons residing within their enemy’s stronghold, they had yet to encounter anything beyond mediocre opponents during the skirmishes between their two species.
At his comments regarding her teaching, Seraphina couldn’t help but smile. “You make the whole process appear effortless, and at times I find myself rather envious that you are able to so easily grasp concepts – especially when I took years to master many of them. But I suppose that motivates me also, pushes me too perfect my own skills and abilities in order to correctly pass them on to you” the young woman stated softly, lifting her blue-grey eyes to take the lake and its reflected moonlight.

with al ight smirk and a nod " yes it is a yes. i would like to learn more from you of course. " thinking for a moment of how to word his answer in regards to what he learned from the demons. " well in all honesty the demons and celestials are much alike ... in reality thier fighting styles are quite similar, as well as quite different. almost like they are the same school of fighting but different styles ... you understand? so as for thier powers well they never really taught me anything in that regards so i really dont know." he looked down to the water once again tapping his fingers gently on the edge of the roof to the lapping of the water.
" so i guess we are teaching each other then hmm? your learning more by training as am i. " he grins looking over to her then back to the lake. he smiled lightly at the sittuation, he never thought that they would be sitting on the roof this late in the day. not that he was complaining however, in honesty there was no one he would rather spend his time with at this point.

Seraphina listened quietly as Malek spoke of the training he had received from her demon counterparts, searching the hybrid information for something that could prove useful to the celestial and her kin. She wasn’t surprised to find that Malek revealed nothing, and felt momentarily foolish that she had expected him too in the first place. He was far too clever, revering the secrets of both species and having sworn to ensure they remained concealed within their respective clans. “I understand completely” Seraphina replied, nodding briefly. “Many celestials have expressed such sentiments themselves upon returning from encounters with the demons” the woman elaborated. Pausing in her conversation briefly, Seraphina shook her head and uttered – “I am surprised they have yet to teach you anything beyond physical combat, I would have thought them eager to tutor in the use of powers – eager to sway your favour in their direction”
“It certainly seems that way, a beneficial relationship is you ask me” Seraphina commented with a soft smile, lifting her head and sighing contentedly as a gentle gust of wind brushed past. “You’re lucky you know, to be in the position you are” the young woman spoke quietly, blue-grey eyes fixing on Malek, “being welcomed amongst both the demons and the celestials. If you parents hadn’t been who they were, hadn’t been of higher rank, you would have been killed without a second thought”

with a half smile he nodded, " you could think that way, however you could also think that they want to limit my power and abilities incase i was to join the other side hmm? at least then they would have more luck being able to handle what i could dish out. " he shruged knowing that its completly possible either way. the demons could be trying to limit his power or be trying to figure out his limits.
lowering his head, he knew for a while that it was only because his parents were of high ranking and highly respected on both sides that he was even alive today. if it wasnt for them doing the things they did he would have been killed when he was born ... or even sooner. Malek had heard what has happend to the hybreds of the past, and he knew he got off lucky. " yes ... i thought about this often ... if my parents had of been just a normal ranking celestial and demon i would most deffinatly not be here ... but in time i hope this war will end and that both sides will be able to live together ... regardless on how long this may take .. "his eyes showed sadness at the thought of his parents and what could have been. however it was quite apparent that he was trying not to show it.
