Hello all I love Totoro I wish i had one of my own...but saddly i do not. On a side note i have just seen the movie Saw and I loved it...but then again i'm an excetionally weird person. I will be as active in this gild as I am able to be((does that make sence...ohh well)) i plan on having fun ^_^

My family and extended family love this movie (grandparents (my parents) and my neices and nephews). I am trying to make up my mind to buy a DVD version. Our version is the VHS version. I can buy a full screen 1988 DVD unopened for $60 American. We LIKE (prefer full screen, but not so much now that the zoom feature is on most DVD players). When I checked out the Disney version coming out in March some of the voices in English have been changed by Disney. I wanted to strangle Disney for using their regular actors for the voices in The Cat Returns. I had a hard time seeing the animated character and not an actor I know well. In addition, the Disney release is a 2 disk release which makes it a more expensive DVD purchase. Whether to get the one DVD 1988 for $60 or buy the Disney 2006 2 Disk version for $30??? Any ideas? question
I am an ardent fan of Hayao Miysaki and Ghibli Studio. I unfortunately do not speak Japanese, but watch my anime subtitled, instead. I belong to Gaia since 2003 and, at first, joined invited by my daughter. Since then her father has joined also. You will find me on my guilds (6 varied), in the Art Arena or in Mini-Shops watching Gaians craft their drawing art skills.

Hello everyone!!! I was soooo happy to find a Totoro guild and accepted. My Neighbor Totoro is my all time fave movie, it was the first anime movie I saw and will always be my fave. I own just about all the Studio Ghibli movies that are translated into english and I can't wait to get them all! As for where I hang out, I'm usually at The Seven Deadly Sins Guild. For those of you who sin and love it, check it out! Hope to see you guys around!

Heya!
I am a HUUGE Miyazaki/Ghibli fan 2 mrgreen !
I do not have much Ghibli movies or things thought... sweatdrop sweatdrop stressed I live in... Norway! rolleyes rofl There are almost NOTHING Ghibli here sad !!
But I have the movies Tonari no Totoro, Spirited away, Princess Mononoke and the Cat returns. I am going to get more thaught wink and a little bit Totoro merchandise...
Nothing more to say actually, unless I want to move to Japan or a little bit more anime and manga place! wink

Tonari no Totoro (My neighbor Totoro) was the first anime I ever watched, and remains my favorite. Miyazaki's work is awsome. Of his work I've watched Tonari no Totoro, Kiki's delivery service and Howls moving castle and I liked them all.

Heya!
I just joined this guild. As everyone else here, I (too) am a Miyazaki fan. I have seen only a few of his movies, but my fiancé just bought all of his movies for us. heart Too bad they're in Hong Kong, and I'll have to wait 'til September, when I go there. crying
Totoro is definitely my favourite one of the movies, and perhaps of all movies. But I gotta say, Miyazaki is a genius. smile
