Trying to make herself stop blushing, Mera only smiled. She sped up a bit and soon enough the two of them where in the cooling shade of the oasis. instently she went to the water and drank, part of her hoping to hide her blush and avoid questions. Her and Nick hadn't been together vary long after all...and how embaressing would it be if she explained she was already thinking of children...

It wasn't in Nick's nature to ask to many questions, or be pushy in any way, but he found he needed to know what else Mera had been thinking of, and so he took the opportunity to try and find out. "So, what else were you thinking of?"

Mera's head popped up and she looked at him, her blush deepening. She knew seh couldn't lie to him..."well...i mean its nothing to importent or anything..." she said, trying to flitter around the subject. She looked down and tho she was blushing she was smiling softly as well. She walked back to him slowly and nuzzled him. "Besides, it proubly wouldn't even happen for a while..." she said lightly.

Immediately, he could tell it was something deeper than simply thoughts of the two of them being together, and though he wished he could back out of the question and not cause his beloved Mera any discomfort, he knew his interest was piqued too far for him to be able to let it go and not obsess about it. So he did was he did best - he tried to ease it with a joke. "If it's that bad, I'll look away," He said with a chuckle.

Mera rolled her eyes and taped him lightly but still she smiled and laughed a little. "Your a big goof, ya know that?" she said, nuzzling him. She snuggled a bit against him before looking at the ground a blushing. No harm in telling him right? i mean it was just a thought..."I'vebeenthinkingaboutwhatitwouldbelikeifwehadafamily" she said really fast, blushing more.

"Nah, not a goof!" He said in mock horror, his eyes widening as he laughed. He blinked as her next words tumbled out like water, in which he caught the words 'thinking', 'like' and what sounded like 'laffa' although he couldn't quite be sure. "Huh?"

SHe continued to look down, her blush deepening as she repeated her words more slowly. "I've been thinking about what it would be like if we had a family..." she said lightly. "at some point..."

Nick smiled. Although as a stallion, he hardly ever gave such things thoughts, he loved that she did. "I think that's a great thing to think about," He said after a moment, nodding. Now that she had mentioned it, really, what would it be like if they had a family?

Mera looked up at him and smiled. "Really? you don't think i'm weird to be thinking about that already?" she leaned against him lightly, resting her head on his neck. See, piece of cake, what had she been so worried about?

"Nah," He shook his head and grinned. "It's good to plan for the future." He had learned that little piece of advice from the humans, and by watching them he had learned far more. But that was a topic for another day.

Mera grinned as well. "well good then." she smiled at him and moved away from him, towards the water, placeing a hoof into it, testing the cool and rereshing waters. Smiling lightly she backed up before taking a running start into the water.

Nick stared longingly at the water, and then turned his head to frown at the fancy blanket and tack he had on. Blast those cursed gear! He wouldn't be able to swim now. His ear flickered and he stomped a hoof in annoyance. That Azhra just had to find the worst days to decide to take him up and let him roam through Azale all fancy like. It was probably about a million degrees out... And he couldn't swim!

Mera titled her head at Nick from her place in the water. "Whats the matter? don't you wanna come in?" she asked. She shook her head and neck, water flying.

"I can't," He said ruefully. "I have a blanket on..." He turned and scowled at the above mentioned blanket. Stupid thing. Blankets were for winter! Away from deserts! Or perhaps nighttime, because sometimes it did get rather chilly after nightfall. But still, it was not for the daytime.

"So? it will dry. Or else can't you just take it off?" she pouted lightly, swimming in a small circle, eyes never leaving him. "Please come in, Nick." she said, her eyes lightly pleading.
