They are supposed to serve the same purpose - to protect the horse's legs and provide support for the tendons and such. Wraps need to be...well, wrapped. There is a lot of room for human error there, and they can slip off, but they are quite fashionable and popular with some disciplines, such as dressage and polo.
Galloping boots are much easier to apply, and usually offer more protection to the inside of a horse's leg; they are made of tougher materials and layers, while wraps are just fleece or fabric.
Actually, the wraps you showed in the picture look more like shipping boots for when you trailer a horse.

I remember that part on the Leg Wraps along with human error, I see and thanks for sharing that will all of us Antlers, biggrin I agree those do look like shipping boots and shipping boots are for putting a horse in a trailer?

Yes, use some sort of boot when you turn the horse out - wraps would be a bad idea for that, since they unwrap. Galloping boots will do, but for turnout I like a boot that covers the entire leg, like SMB boots (Sports Medicine Boots). I also but bellboots on the horse for turnout as well. wink  These are SMB Boots. I quite like them, as they provide excellent support.

I also but bellboots on the horse for turnout as well. wink These are SMB Boots. I quite like them, as they provide excellent support. I see and wow, cool, so thats what they look like, I'm so glad that they give excellent support, are the SMB boots for healing a horse's hurt leg?

No, the name is misleading. However, they can provide excellent support for a healing leg, but there is nothing really medicinal about them, except for support.

As long as they are just a strip of fleecey material, they are the same. wink Only shops might want to charge more for the word 'polo'. There are also some wraps called 'track bandages' I think, and they are made of a stretch fabric material...

Polos can be dangerous to use...The main difference between polos and boots is that boost have a couple strips of velcrow and polos only have one.
