Music-Um... I like They Might Be Giants, Sparks, Cake, Tempest, the Killers, Devo, Imogene Heap, ect.
Books- OH MY GOSH I am a book FIEND. Right now I'm in a huge Kurt Vonnegut phase and I like Slaughterhouse Five and Cat's Cradle best. Other favorites- 1984, The Canterbury Tales, Murder on the Oriental Express (and anything else by Agatha Christie), Dante's Inferno (but I haven't read the Purgatory or the Paradise yet), Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxay, Good Omens, and the Discworld series... I'll just stop now before I talk your ear off.
TV- I don't watch tv much, but when I do it's either Monk, Psych, America's Next Top Model or Desperate Housewives (...guilty pleasure tv, all of it).
Cartoons and Anime- Most everything, really. Ouran High School Host Club, One Piece, Naruto (only... the fans disturb me), and FMA (but I only like the manga. Why watch it when you can read it?) I won't get into American style animation, too many to list there.
Artistic Inspirations? Jen Wang, Federico Bertolucci, loish, and Makani

About you: I'm a visual art student, just transfered from my psychology major. I haven't taken any drawing classes yet. I'm experimenting with alternate mediums in my studio class, such as body art and projections. :3 Aside from that, I spend too much time online, and I do too many thing that are bad for my body when I go out.
I like all sorts of music, from death metal to ska. I'd elaborate, but I think people put too much importance on musical taste, so I won't. :3

I love tea. And cats. And shiny things. I have a crush on every boy, even though I'm married to a wonderful guy [I refer to him as the Boy]. I was a huge manga/anime fan basically from birth, even though there really wasn't any available here. [I liked a lot of Sanrio stuff though, and Little Angels, etc] I went through a pretty bizarre fangirl phase from the ages of 13 to 15, then turned viciously anti-fan, and now I'm kind of neutral on the whole thing.
I started out heavily influenced by manga and anime, but I kind of did a 180 and most of my influences now come from American artists. I love Ryan Ottley [Invincible], Mike Mignola, Mike Allred [X-Statix], Ed McGuinness [Superman/Batman], and a lot of artists from the Tokyopop American manga books.
I'm not a big fan of manga anymore because I just can't relate to it. Sadly, I'm not a teen anymore and I find most manga that's brought over here is aimed at a tween-to-teen market and just too fluffy for my tastes. I've also really distanced myself from the whole Japanophile thing and while I still love Japan and it's culture, I'm just not that interested in the comics anymore.
I collect. Toys and comics, videogame and movies, you name it and I probably have it. I'm a pack-rat by heart and can't bring myself to throw a lot of stuff out.
I'm inspired a lot by music, I love techno and house/garage, heavy drum and bass, electronica, jazz, jazz fusion, 80's and pop-punk.
I run a small business called PK L heart ve, making purses with a Pirate Kitty mascot. I love sewing, but don't get to do a lot of it anymore now that I work full time.
I also ramble. But I think you knew that by now.

Uhhh... Oh, God, I could go on and on about me. We all already knew that, though. ;D Lesse... Finishing high school through continuing education correspondence (don't ever drop out, kids .__. Seriously, big mistake), and then planning on attending post-secondary ... for what, I'm not sure of yet. Most likely to get my BFA, but if I can somehow muscle up a miracle, it'll be an Illustration diploma, whether BAA or BFA. I'm way over in Alberta, Canada.
Fave movies are Lord of War, Pulp Fiction, Fight Club... them kinds of movies. But really, those are my three favourites. Books, I'm sort of a classics maniac, beginning to collect literature that we usually study in high school because I am lame, and yes, I do like Shakespeare .__. Well, I like MacBeth and Hamlet. A lot. Yeah.
However, my favourite book in the world is The Zombie Survival Guide.
I stopped liking anime/manga a while back... I guess I grew out of it. I used to be horribly obsessed, but no longer. Lately, I've developed a taste for graphic novels from North America ... Y: The Last Man, in particular, oh my GOD I love that series. And American Virgin's amazing.

Norman Rockwell, of course. He's a master of facial expressions and gesture, if you ask me. My friend Kirsty, because she's amazin'... hmm. There're a good few artists that inspire me just... smattered around all over the place, but Norman and Kirsty are the first two that popped into my head.
But most of the inspiration I get for my pictures comes from real life. Seriously. I don't really show all that much regarding my art (EXCEPT THE BORING ONES LOLOL) but nothing gets me fired up to draw more than watching people.
One time...
... I saw a boob pop out at the bus stop.
AND YES, I AM A WANNA-BE INSOMNIAC. No, not really. My biological clock is just a little off. That happens when you school from home.
