Kai was walking down the street, relaxing and taking in the sites. Along the way, A lady stopped him. "Oh! what an adorable Treecko!!!" She ran up and picked up Kai's Pokemon and began hugging it. " You know.. what.. I'm from Cherry Blossum town, and in a few days they are going to be having a Festival! Not only is it fun and have good food, but its very refreshing for Grass type pokemon! They even seem to be able to Fight better after going to it!" At the sound of this, Treecko jumped down from her arms, ran over, grabbed Kai's leg and tried to pull it.
Kai laughed. "Wow Treecko's never Show such excitement about anything before! I guess that settles it, we're going to the festival!" They said their goodbyes to the lady and headed to blackburry fields to make their way to Cherry Blossum town.

Arriving back in town Kai headed straight to the hospital his brother was put in. He knew the room he was in so he had no need to ask the receptionist. He and Treecko entered the elevator and went up to the fifth floor. Taking a left from the elevator they walked down the hall till they reached the last room on the end. Entering Kai found his mother and Father in there.
"Kai? Kai! its great, your brother! he woke up earlier today!!!" Kai was about to run up to his brothers bed but his father stopped him. "Hang on, he is sleeping now and the doctor says we need to let him get all the rest he can. come on, we can talk in the hall." They walked outside and sat down. "Oh this must be your starter pokemon!" His mother said as she bent down and looked at the Treecko. "Yeah, this is Treecko, He's pretty tough for a little guy! ...I had another pokemon, but it was stolen..." Kai proceeded to tell the story of how his pokemon was stolen and what he planned to do now. "You do know that working as an Agent will be dangerous.. Well either way we are very proud of you son! and im sure your brother is too." they sat and talked for a few more minutes then Kai left with Treecko. They headed to the Casino, his parents had told him about Pokemon that could be won there.

Finally making it to the Casino, they walk in to see all sorts of slots and games and many people having fun. Deciding not to waist too much time Kai first went to see if there were any pokemon available that he would be interested in. Finding on he went to the desk and exchanged 500Y for 10 coins and a coin case.
"Alright Treecko, lets see if luck is on our side or not." He put four coins into a slot machine and pulled the lever.
