The same thing happens to me.
My school is group project crazy.You get to pick your own groups.
I don't have any friends or like to work with someone in particular.
I would rather get the work done solo.It's faster and peaceful.
Those jerks just shove all thier work to you and expect you to do it with the excuse of "because your smarter then me."
The swines they are eating thier Rice Krispies while making everyone do thier work. stressed

Anyway, I have a confession too; though it may not seem too serious. I'm not supposed to be talking to people I don't know IRL online. I love my parents to death, but what with all of the news about "online predators" and girls getting kidnapped, raped or killed; they get paranoid (which I can understand). They prefer I stick to talking to my IRL friends, but I'm too attached to Freefall to let go. -gonk- Don't get me wrong, I don't think you guys are predators (well, if you are a 44 year old man tracking my every move, you've fooled me xD) but if I'm not on Gaia as much anymore, please understand why.
(Plus I decided to give the Internet up for Lent, which starts next week 3nodding )

I have the same problem as SapphireStarr. My dad doesn't want me on the internet talking to strangers either. But after spending 4 months here on Gaia I don't think I'll be able to be seperated from you guys. I've just grown too attached to Gaia and the Freefall.
But it gets annoying when he comes and checks what I'm doing b/c I switch the windows b/c I don't want him to see what I'm typing or if I'm looking up yaoi. And when he sees me doing that, he thinks I'm doing something illegal. gonk
And he thinks I could get an internet stalker that could find out all my personal information. But he has no idea that I'm way too paranoid to let that happen.

xd My parents know I'm not stupid enough to get raped Online, nor do they know how to put up Internet blockers/walls of any kind. (I get passed them all in 15 minutes, anyway xd )

My parents don't really care if I talk to people I don't know, as long as I don't reveal personal info. They sometimes badger me about that, but overall they're pretty lenient. They probably know that I'm too smart for that.
I have tried to give up Internet for Lent for years, so I'm not doing it this year. Instead, I'm going to try and shorten my homework time, so you'll see me less since I'm going to try to stop myself from procrastinating. Thou art more lovely and more temperate.
