Tsukarei blinked again. "She's not someone who goes back on her word. She does what's right. She want's to become the next queen so that this seperation can stop. She wants people to be happy. Sadly, she won't become queen. She's only a half-breed. This kingdom is one ruled only by those who are naturally born. I'd never tell her that though. I pray that she becomes queen. She deserves it." He kept his eyes on the girl beside him. "She won't take them back and she may not even let me have anything to do with this." He watched as Isasha walked back.

"You at least can get them back to her. And just because it's right doesn't mean she should do it. Nevermind, where does she stay? She'll simply find them in her room if she won't take them." she finally said, praying the girl wouldn't get back until she knew.

Tsukarei raised an eyebrow wondering how this girl didn't know where the palace was. "Well, obviously, she has a lot more power than you think. If she wants something done, she can have several guards take you in. Are you sure you even want to go to her house?"
Isasha came back and leaned on Tsukarei resting her head on his arm. The owner of the necklace was giving her a hard time even though she had returned the necklace. "My head hurts." She had a few tears in her eyes. He brushed them away.
Tsukarei hugged her a bit. "Maybe you need to go home and get some rest. I need to go eat anyway. Listen take the money and save the money she gave you. I'm gonna go make sure she gets home. Nice chatting with you. You don't have to take. Some people are kind." He picked her up and hand to move her head to his chest so it wouldn't fall down. She waved weakly at the girl.

She sighed, then went back to the store she had sold the jewlery to. She'd figured out who the girl was by this point, and was considering following her at one point to figure out which room was hers. Hopefully, it was one on the outer wall, or at least with a window. Going up to the man at the counter, she set the money on the counter. "Can I have the things the girl just sold? It was a necklace, earings, and bracelets..." she said, hoping she'd get them back.

A girl was waiting impatiently at the steps, waiting for Isasha to get back. She looked a few years younger than Isasha, though there were no other similarities. Her hair, such a dark red as to be thought black at times, framed her face, her bangs chin-length while the rest fell to her shoulders. She had blue-grey eyes, which revealed her mood by changing color, but was only recognizable by those who knew her. She wasn’t tall, a normal height, but had a lithe and voluptuous form, one which a model would envy, that was cloaked in a simple shirt and skirt.
Arya saw Tsukarei coming, carrying her sister, and she ran up to them. "What happened?" she asked, bouncing up and down, worry evident on her face.

Zeff stumbled upon a cave somehow. He looked at the huge maw of an entrance, and listened should anything already be in there. All he really wanted was a little shelter, the night would come sooner or later and then it would be cold, and he didn't like the cold.
Zeff was a fairly strange thing to look at, somewhere between the appearances of a human and a tiger. He had the ears and tail of a tiger, and his face extended very slightly like a muzzle, with appropriately sharp teeth, and he had orange-with-black-stripe fur in symmetrically placed patches all over his body. His hands and feet had retractable claws where a human would have fingernails. Even his skin had a very slightly striped-seeming tint.
He was wearing simple but somewhat tattered traveler's clothes (a shirt and a pair of pants). He didn't ask for much in life, just food and the occasional shelter.
After a few minutes, he decided this would have to be it. He was usually as cautious as he could be, and he hadn't heard even so much as a breath. He walked into the cave--

And was immediately grabbed by about five or six wolf-demon guards.
Well, I'm screwed, he thought to himself as he submissively went with what they seemed to be telling him to do. They hadn't spoken yet, so he wasn't sure if they spoke the same language as him or not. Either way, he wasn't likely to get out of here alive.

((If I'm incorrect in any assumptions made in this post, please correct me. Examples of things I may have wrong: They might not mind him, I could be mistaken about the meaning of 'all races welcome', the cave could be much harder to find...etc.))

Tsukarei set her down so she could walk in on her own. "It's just a headache. I wanted to make sure she got here safely." He made a small sound as he turned watching some guards bring in an outsider. "I have to go. Later." He ran off toward the guards.
"I'm fine. It's a headache. Arya, you don't have to be worried." Isasha smiled weakly as she walked past.

Zeff heard some people talking not far off, and realized he could understand what they were saying. Apparently someone had a headache, but that wasn't really his concern at the moment. Still, the fact that he could understand them was somewhat of a good sign. Then again, it was even more unlikely they could understand his language of writing.
They stopped at a point and he was searched for pretty much anything. All they found was all he really owned: his writing pad and pen. After a short discussion it was decided he couldn't do much harm with those and they were put back in the pocket he kept them in.
Then he was starting to be taken somewhere else, presumably to decide his punishment or await it in some sort of prison.

((What is their punishment for intruding, anyway?))

"What is that? It's not one of the normal ones they bring..." she asked, meaning the cat-like thing Tsukarei had ran after. She followed her sister, determind not to be lost that easily. "And, what did you do this time to give you a headache?" she questioned further, set on figuring out what had happened.

((And, I'm hesitant to be the jewler since you were him earlier... Even if he is a npc, I'm still hesitant.... sweatdrop ))

^-^ Well the punishment for tresspassing is you can either leave and never come back or you stay. Normally the punishment is death because most are armed, and don't worry. As long as the person isn't listed at the beginning of the roleplay, you can be whatever character. Just don't give a very detailed description.))
Tsukarei examined the search. The thing appeared to be part Tiger. He'd told them the only thing he could tell them at he moment. He had to conduct an interrogation. He walked with them and went into the room with the prisoner. he sat down offering the prisoner to have a seat as well. They didn't like to keep many other breeds than themselves. He examined the male across from him. "What's your reason for coming here? The basic interregation, of course, is mandatory. So, please, if you don't want to die, be truthful."
Isasha smiled weakly. "Well, I was returning some jewelry to a merchant. They were being a pain. So my head started hurting under the stress. You're right. I never seen a creature like that around either." She went in and layed down on the couch. "So where are the twins and the full breeds? They normally hang out around down here."

Zeff took a seat as indicated, and then listened to the question. He opened his mouth as if to speak but no sound came out but his breathing. He mouthed the words "Can't speak" as best he could. Uncertain as to whether or not the message could be understood, he took out the pad and pen and wrote: I don't know if you can read this or not but I'm mute: Unable to speak. Then he tore out the sheet and offered it to the interrogator.
He started writing something else, the answer to the original question, on the off chance that they could understood what he wrote.

((Now the pad and pen make a whole lot more sense, eh? It's up to you whether or not they read the same script, though.))

Tsukarei looked at the print. It was just like the print they read. He gave a short laugh. 'Well, you're a mute. I don't think you'd fit in here. Not too many mutes around, you know. Well, write away. It kinda bores me, but I have the time." He leaned back in the chair folding his arms and putting her heel on his knee.

"I dunno... I think Mama shooed them off cause they were being loud and fighting again and were banished to the courtyard, but I'm not sure..." she said, shrugging as she sat down in a chair and tucked her legs underneather herself.

Looking at her strangly, the merchant handed her the jewlery, taking most the money. "I saw what happened, keep it. And no, I'm not going to keep any." he said, leaving her with enough for a few weeks of food. She smiled gratefully before leaving, slipping everything in a pocket and heading towards the palace.

He finished the note after listening to the questioner, tore it off and handed it to him. It said: My name is Zeff. I wasn't aware the cave was inhabited, or that it was anywhere near this large--that's an understatement. I was only looking for a place to stay for awhile.

I wasn't always mute. I don't think I'd fit in too well here anyway.

Tsukarei read over it. "So, do you plan on leaving and never returning, or are you staying here?" He raised an eyebrow. He knew that the tiger would only be put with the few other people who happened to come upon the cave. "Why'd you come to the cave in the first place?"
Isasha smiled a bit. "Well, I was wondering." She loved her little sister and worried about her. It was only human to feel worry. That was what the first queen of the Lair said. The rest of the half-breeds and decendants had to learn this. If they needed to, any child could be chosen to fulfill their duty, women to marry and/or bare children, men to fight.
