RoseRosa I loved New Moon, I was a little bored before Edward left then it was fascinating. I found it very satisfactory, I loved the angst and I found the focus on Bella's friendship with Jacob brilliant. I don't know how to explain it really. yea,lol totally agree, i'm reading it for the second time. i'm gonna buy it soon though. hehe, once the price goes down a bit. i think that when edward was gone she learned someting actually. i think she learned that if he were to ever leave her again (i highly doubt that) that she'd be able to get through it. that she's stronger than she thought she was...i feel sorry for jacob though. lol

But now she also knows that if Edward ever tries to leave her, she could return to the Volturi, and I doubt that Edward would leave her long enough to throw her life at Aro to end

actually i doubt they would end her life if he left her again, Aro might SAY he would but would just turn her instead....yea i think he'd be that sneaky...I still wonder what Bella's abilities would be as a vampire....

I'm guessing that she'd just be immune to other vampire's abilities.

The book it self was good, yes Edward missing pissed me off. But how could she just leave it like that and make us wait a year for another one.

It was such a great book! I spent many hours yelling at Edward and crying (sometimes at the same time). Bella needed that time apart from him in order to know just how much she needed him. Kawaii.

No Rashaka are mother werewolves. The breeders, supposedly there is only one of them, and they are able to grant a single wish at the end of their life to one of their "children"

I didn't like when Edward left, it was something that you knew was going to happen, and it did. For some reason I laughed when I kept turning ht epages and it was a different month every time, I don't know why, but I did. It was pretty boring to me when she hung out with Jacob and got upset all the time. The only things that stuck out to me there was the age game and when the voice first appeared. It got interesting again when you first meet the pack and they all start betting and goofing off, I liked that part. THen I would say that nothing I really liked happened until Alice showed up.
But NOTHING can beat when they went to Italy. I love how they described the Volturi. It was awesome and painted a perfect image in my mind.

Hello again. I would like to say that I just spent the last 45 minutes reading through these passages, and shaking my head. Though you are all very right for your comments, I disagree will a lot of them. Yes, Meyer did skip around a lot of detail, and yes it was very bland, but dont you wonder why? Its because she is conveying what Bella was going through. The page after page of months...it was all a blur because to Bella it was all a blur. The details skip around in the middle because Bella had no reason to pay attention to everything, and to convey that feeling so the reader could really understand, Meyer had no choice but to...dull out everything. I, personally, LOVE the way she puts her readers right into the book. And I have a theory about the Volterra details...
1) In a new place, it does feel like everything is...bigger. But after being there long enough, things shrink down. Nothing is that confusing anymore.
2) When your racing against time, to save someones life, you really dont have the attension span to actually take in the details, yes...you will notice things, but not everything, not when your in a rush.
sweatdrop sorry for my ramblings, but I felt an urge to voice my opinion, I hope I didnt offend anyone.

New Moon was and wasn't satisfying to me. I think it's because Edward was gone for most of the book.

Thanks for the encouragement, but I am a horrible writer. That story would suck, I prefer just to read Eclipse in 96 days when it is released. And until then I will just read other peoples stories.

i think i should've read all the posts, but i didnt...so from wut i read so far...people dont like the book to tell you the truth, i got really sidetracked when reading it. like when edward left, she showed us how desperate and stupid (sorry) she was. the part i liked best in the book were the few little pages which required little reading, yea the ones with the months on it
When i first read about how Bella heard Edwards voice in her head, i seriously thought Edward had brought out another one of his hidden powers...or maybe someone else in the Cullen family. But yea, then it got kinda boring if i were to reread it again (for the third time), i would only go back to where Edward came back...because that was the interesting part...
plus, it was a bit retarded when Bella kept thinking that Edward was a dream...
