He doesn't have to get together with anyone, but I think that Meng girl's pretty adorable and he has all of those little fangirls on Kyoshi Island. But Kataang is more likely to happen.

I just don't like Kataang. I think there's a bit of a maturity gap between the two and I think that Katara is more like a mother or an older sister to Aang than a girlfriend. I mean, if they end up getting together when the series ends (which I'm pretty sure they will), I'm not gonna throw a complete b***h fit and decide to sue Nick or whatever.

The maternal thing makes sense. That's really wat's going on with Kataang!

xd I didn't say she was too old, I just said there's a bit of a maturity gap between them. Mind you, Katara can be quite bitchy sometimes and Aang is getting a bit more mature as the series continues, but still.

The reason that some Zutara fans (and other people that don't like Kataang) say "Katara's too old for him" is probably because they think it's more normal for a girl to date an older guy than a younger one. I personally think that it's kind of odd for teenage girls to date younger guys, but there's certainly nothing wrong with it (unless they're way too young gonk ) and it's not why I don't like Kataang.

You did bring up some pretty good points and I'm almost certain that Kataang is going to happen on the show, but I still think Katara acts a little more like a maternal figure to Aang. But as I keep saying over and over, it is my opinion and I'm certainly not trying to force it on anyone else. I'm just kinda getting attacked here and I'm trying to stick up for myself. gonk xd

*shrugs* I was just sayin', it's a more traditional look on things and it's probably a reason that some people don't like Kataang.

Acctualy, since Zuko isn't as powerfull of a bender as Aang, it's more likely it's Aang. And he was only trying to bribe her with the necklace, not hit on her. Not to mention that ever other time they are shown together (I mean other than Water Bending Scroll, and in part of the season finale), they're fighting, and obviously do not like each other. I don't even recall Zuko calling Katara by her acctual name! Season one, it would be "Water tribe peasent" or something along those lines.

And lets not forget the kiss Katara gave Aang at the end of Bato of the Water Tribe, Cave of Two Lovers, The Serpent's Pass, where Aang pretty much confessed his love, and Katara hugged Aang, along with The Earth King. Must I go on?

Zutara was most likely started by the waterbending scroll but how it's lived sooooo long I really don't know eek Anyway it dosn't seem likely to happen at all because of all the kataang stuff happening in the episodes.I mean kataang has WAY more stuff that actually happened in the episodes than zutara!Personally I really don't care if katara is 2 years older than him.Aang has matured much further than he had at the begaining of the series(come on does that count for nothing!?!)Plus that's saying that girls can date older guys but not younger ones which is really stupid and unfair.If the two people are really in love(which seems like the case in kataang)than the 2 year age difference shouldn't matter.It's also clear that Katara likes Aang more than Zuko.Infact Katara HATES Zuko.There is evidence that she loves Aang because when they kissed in the cave of two lovers it was Katara that suggested it!And there's also the fact that Zuko and Katara's people are sworn enemies.Katara wouldn't want to betray her tribe and that's made very clear in the first two episodes.And after the last episode of season two Katara healed Aang NOT Zuko Aang.Plus after he told her he was now good he betrayed everyone and joined with Azula.Katara now hates him even more.He's also from the fire nation the nation that killed her mother.And the episode that sapposedly sparked Zutara is also the episode where he ties her to a tree and is only being somewhat nice to her so she'll tell him where Aang is.And in the episode where Jun says Katara's Zukos girlfriend and he dosn't protest that's just because Zuko is to mature to argue about such a pointless topic.He knows it's not true and that's good enough for him.Also the opposites attract thing is getting really old stare This could be true for some pairings but not Zutara.They don't secretly love each other they HATE each other ok?All this stuff about fan art and fan fics they're cute to draw and write about-so is kataang so that is not a defence.This is also a childrens show!If Zuko and Katara hooked up then the show would have WAY to much drama for it's own good.In the furtuneteller when she said Katara would merry a powerful bender it has to be Aang!He's the avatar and a very powerful bender.Sokka even says so in the episode and Katara agrees with him!The fortuneteller might have said that she didn't see any love in Aangs future but she also said that he had the power to change his future.If there is anything I missed then the Zutarians can bring it on!I can guarantee I'll have something to back up Kataang with!
