As she moved up the platforms she noticed somthing other and more dangerous then sounds. Large black wavering shapes were moving about the air now, gliding upwards through the air about her. They were almsot impossiblye to see in the darkness but the waving effect on there forms as they passed the glowing mushroomes revealed them. She couldnt make out to much just yet but there were about seven of them and she saw small flashes of sharp points under the misty billwoing shadows. Also... they were begining to circle her and close in...

The dark beigns were seemingly content to circle her as she moved up but the instant she tried to move over to another platform. The circling beasts drove themselves at her, suddenly bearing boney chests, horrific faces that were like maskes of death, neither bone of the dead nor flesh of the living, and there mouth opened wide enough to engulf her head whole. However this time they mearly drove themselves into the elf and slammed her off coarse. She fell into the dark, landing on a mushroom several yards down from her original position. One took a bite at her but as soon as she stood, they went back to circling safely from a distance and seemed nearly harmless again.

The sneaky beasts continued to circler her cutting off all escape except by going up or down.. and they definantly wanted her to go back into the darkness. It seemed they would not attack her unless she was helplessly flying through the air or lying on the ground. The kept there circling up but didnt try and strike at her... yet.

Thw wraithling beings had finaly gotten her to go where they liked. They dove into the depths of the forest and vanished. As she walked she began hearing no more noises, but eeing things. Shed see a glimmer of light only to have it vanish, or a person walking by who would suddenly walk right out of existance. When she moved around one mushroom she suddenly had one of the wraithlings coming at her full force and heard another swooping from overhead.

A few of the dark shapes swept over her and missed being hit, or were they hit and didnt feel it? At either rate she moved upwards and they began to follow her up the mushrooms. The spirit were obviously intent on keeping up this pattern until she died or escaped.

Seeing as she was now bounding about aimlessly just to get up, the beigns flashed at her and began swirling about like a whirlpool of darkshade and jagged points. She only just made it out after a breathtakingly long trip upwards, cutting down and through the monsters as she went. Finaly she passed over the brink and into a new place. The light was not so bright as it seemed in the dark cavern but it was still more than enough to behold a large and ancient dragons skull. It gaped at her against a large rockface, opening like a door to reveal a stone coffin just begging to be opened. The floor was an unstable pit of black gravel.

The door behind her suddenly closed, making an echo that she wished hadnt happened. It was more than too load when one was trying to be stealthy and the crypt coffin she came too on the other side of this large gravel pit began to seep with a slight mist. It spread out and around her like a fog, never being right ontop of her but ever around.
