i don't know much about the saddle they bought, and i don't think they did either....They didn't do much research on what kind to get...just bought one....

Antlers People should not leave their saddles outside at all. I'm not sure about prices of saddle repairs.. WEll it wasn't my fault.

no, i ride Dakota, my baby..although not mine, but he might as well be becuase we both love each other lots!

really? thats cool! There is a lady I know at Equestrian Therapy (whom i horse sat for once) who owns a horse named Dakota to..but she's a girl.....but she is a chesnut, just like my boy, but has a star.

Pianoangel1 really? thats cool! There is a lady I know at Equestrian Therapy (whom i horse sat for once) who owns a horse named Dakota to..but she's a girl.....but she is a chesnut, just like my boy, but has a star. Yeah and awwwww cute and my Dakots is a Bay Paint Tobiano Mare.^^

Cherry Milkshake Antlers Depends on what you want to use it for. Generally, Wintec saddles, which are snythetic, tend to be excellent saddles for the price, and require only light care. Many inexpenisve saddles or saddles that come in 'starter packages' tend to be made of cheap leather, and are often not made well for both the rider and the horse. I have a Wintec Pro dressage saddle that is wonderfully comfortable for both me and the horse I ride, and it didn't break the bank, either. I see and are European saddles expensive? Usually. If I got a horse/pony from someone they'd probably already have a saddle and may sell it to me. If it was good quality and I could jump in it I would use that.

I'd say Wintec or Passoa (Passoa = more expensive but really good saddle and comfy)
It depends what you wanna do, generally an all-purpose saddle works for it all but theres also dressage and jumping saddles.
