He gets annoying. He tries to give off a "I'm too cool for this place and I'm gonna quit" and what not vibe, but he wouldn't ever leave. He's not a big enough man. Probably sob uncontrollably for days if he lost his intranetz. He is the most literate n00b I know.

The funny thing is, that's exactly what happened.




You didn't hear it from me though. Sometimes being part of a Guild with that same person has some advantages.


Also, I apologize for not being active in this guild. To tell you the truth, I feel quite uneasy (not in a horribly negative sense though) from posting here because everyone in here pretty much have a better understanding of most RPGs than I do. I can't possibly add much to conversations other than agreeing with points that were made. I know it seems pretty silly, but I felt pretty honored to be part of this guild, being distinguished and feeling that I have been chosen as the better few of the Final Fantasy Subforum. I look up to many of you, even though I'm older than most.

But yeah, I'll cut the sappiness. Just had to say something about my inactivity in this guild. Maybe it was just better to say that I suck.

1. Yeah, don't be intimidated. I mean, look. I've played 96 RPGs. That's a lot. Some people have played more. But not all that many. And I can say, with total sincerity, that having played 95 other RPGs didn't change my understanding of Final Fantasy 7 in any way. Whether you've played 1 RPG or a thousand (hypothetically speaking, as I don't think there are actually 1000 RPGs yet), you can always make a good contribution as long as you're using your noggin--which everyone in this guild is able to do quite well. I'd love to have a conversation that ties in the intriguing theme of Creation vs. Creator and all its variations in RPGs from the NES era onward, comparing them all and determining which has the most insight and which is just crudely using the idea for a quick buck with no actual direction or message to convey (Xenogears), but I'd just as much like to see a discussion on why someone thinks that Zell is the most worthwhile character of Final Fantasy 8, never once deviating from that single game, or something simpler, like why the battle system in Okage: Shadow King sucks unwashed elephant nads. It's all relevant communication with potential to be interesting.

You all have things of interest to share. That's why I want this guild to keep up at least a little conversational flow. If you weren't generally interesting and smart people, just a regular bunch of Gaians randomly selected from the forums, I assure you I wouldn't be so eager to have you all share your opinions--hell, I'd probably be offering Gold prizes who whoever shut up the best.

2. I sometimes wonder if I ought to play the reporting game--it's not like Idiot-Child doesn't break several rules himself at all times. I could suck up to mods and report him for his idiocies, too, with as good or better result, too. But really, what's the point? It's petty and silly. And it takes more effort to make a report and get a person banned than it does for them to make a new account--this new one here was made inside a couple minutes' time. It's much more satisfying to keep easy track of him, continue to deeply hurt his sensitive little feelings of inferiority, and make him waste his time reporting me when nothing comes of it.

Then again.. the FF sub-forum isn't fun for me anymore -.-...

(Thats why the FF Arena is under construction atm ^.^... it'll be up after Deca is over XD)
