((Sorry for huge delay, had to scoot out for dinner.))
Skellington's parts slowly reunited, his legs joining again along with his middle. Soon, his whole body was assembled except for his head, which was afew feet away from the rest of him.
"Left left, no that's your right. Other way, yes, yes, forward, now reach out..." he commanded to his body, which located him and screwed the head back on.
Skellington turned to Kuzimu, his eyes switching gazes from his kids to his mate.
"I think that's a perfect name, sweet!" he exclaimed, gazing lovingly at the cubs with a gleam in his eyes.

Dante suddenly found himself curled into an awfully uncomfortable position, his legs crammed into his stomach. He as surounde in pitch blackness, he almost thought he was blind. He pushed out his leg, wondering if the surface he was contained in was breakable. Apparently it was, because he slowly emerged out of the egg. He stared curiously outside before crawling all the way outof the shell.
"Spalooooo?" he cooed questionally.

Kuchomi huddled in her egg, shivering slightly. She was able to get out much earlier, and had tried, but her frail muscles failed at penetrating the shell. She was awfully tired, but she tried one last time. She attempted to open her mouth, but her mouth stitches stretched painfully. Kuchomi went wih another plan and nudge the egg with her head, the egg rolling against the plapen wall and cracking open. She hesitated for a moment and discovered, to her horror, she could only see through one eye, because the other one was stitched shut and unable to open. She whimpered, everything seemed so strange, of course, since she had never really seen anything. She was noticably much tinier than her siblings, and she mistook her parents to be giants at first glance.

Skellington purred hapily, before gazing proudly at the new hatchlings. His expression drooped as he looked at Kuchomi sadly, walking over to the frightened cub.
"This one looks like a Kuchomi, and the other one's a Dante for sure. Awww, I wonder why this one's so small... she looks scared." he said sympathetically.

Kuzimu chuckled, "Well, there they are! Don't they look like little spooksters?" She asked, half to herself and half to Skellington.

"Oh dear, I don't know... But she looks like she'll be alright, she's just frightened." She said, petting Kuchomi gently on the head.

Tisho squeaked and backed up a few feet as the eggs broke open and revealed his brother and his other sister. "Smaaaaa!" He said exitedly, bounding over to his brother and beginning to babble away in baby talk.

Fupa seemed to be very sorry for Kuchomi. She felt thet it was unfair that her sister had to suffer. This made her start to cry. Her own little sister not only having to suffer being th runt, but also only being able to see with one eye was heartbreaking. She was trying to be strong for her younger siblings but she couldn't help it. Tears were welling up in her eyes. She let out a loud sob and started to cry for her younger sister's suffering.

Kuchomi yipped weakly when she was picked up, but snuggled up to her mother after a moment of recovery. She felt safe in Kuzimu's arms, but she was still terrified of the new world. The runt of the litter started crying, being so terrified of her surroundings.
"Amooooo..." she cried.

Skellington noticed his other daughter was crying, and immediately shuffled over. He scooted her closer to him, stroking her head gently.
"No no no... don't cry Fupa..." he comforted.

Fupa felt touched by her father's words. She clung to her fathers front paw, purring and nuzzling. Crying had made her very tired. While still clinging to her father's leg, she fell asleep, still purring with a slight smile on her face. She was very happy to have such a loving father.

Kuzimu nuzzled all her children and curled her tail around them lovingly. "Sleep, little ones." She said softly before turning to Skellington. "I don't know... But life isn't fair I suppose. She'll learn to live with her disablities, and become strong from it. She'll be fine, in time." She said quietly to him, "But for now, I think it's time for sleep. Good night, my love."
