"Such pleasure from such simplicity?" Nightingale asked. "I am curious. What was so horrible about Scotland that made you so passionate about not being there now?"
You shouldn't presume that she's from Scotland just because her accent is Scottish, Nightingale's voice of reason nagged at her. And furthermore, this is way too personal of a question. What if she asks you the same thing? How could you respond without revealing an intimate part of your mind to her? Sure, she's nice enough, but so was Morgana, remember?

Dierdre looked at the woman infrount of her. She raised an eyebrow curiously. Why would she ask that. Well it was simple, curiousity. Her eyes bleamed slightly with a spark of interest and happiness. Something was touching her intuition. The woman was possibly regretting this question? She smiled, she'd be nice this time.
"I.. Just have my past there." She said with a bit of hesitation, trying to find the right words...

"I apologize, if that was too personal a question," Nightingale murmured. "But thank you for answering."
Be careful, Nightie, her inner muse warned. This is what got you into trouble with Morgana, remember? Sharing stories over wine? Candle light? Darkness outside? Hm? Any of this ringing a bell? Be cautious, don't let yourself get in too deep.

Lila entered the bar, came up to the bartender and in one short sentence stated two things "A manhatten, and are you searching for bartenders by any chance?"

Rayni stepped into Tipsy's doorway, stopping in the middle of the frame. She looked around to find someone to conversate with. She had only been in Neverwinter for a few days, and had little money left with her. She searched the room with her glowing chrome eyes.

Dierdre began to answer but was slightly distracted as two more women came through the door. She looked carefully over them both. It would be highly interesting to know them as well. She wondered if any of the women in the bar happened to have some of the same interests.
She turned back to Nightingale, "No worries. I didn't answer too pearsonally." she replied to the woman.

Nightingale nodded slightly. She turned back to the bartender. "A Dead Caeser is made with oregano, mint, peppermint absinthe and human blood," she said in a curt voice. "One, please."

Dierdre looked at the bartender and indicated that she wanted another chardonney. Then turned back to the woman infrount of her. She didn't have any idea on what to talk about, but sooner or later she would figure it out.
"You're drink sounds interesting." she looked on with interests.

Nightingale smirked with satisfaction as she sipped the drink. "It is a complex cocktail served in most underground blood bars," she said simply. "You know, the ones where those wannabe vampires hang out and bite each other's shoulders with false fangs?Hn. Vampires never do that unless they are mating."
Shush! You are saying too much! her little voice reprimanded. Stop talking about vampires. Talk about bunnies. You love bunnies.

Dierdre cocked her eyebrow in iterest. So.. this person knew about vampires, but how much? She had known a Vampire once. She had wanted a compainon, and well.. seeing as she was immortal just the same.. She sighed, it hadn't turned out good in the least though. Too much sex for her.
She smiled, "Wanna be Vampires.. when did they start showing up? Anything Like Lady Bathroy I wonder." she thought the last sentance out loud.

Lila sat her eyes dead set on the door way. She grinned and swigged her manhatten, "another please" She already was a little on the ground, but she drank another and another until she passed out, her head on the counter.

"Wannabe vampires have been around since the days of Darga, whom Brahm Stoker referred to as Dracula. Really, that was only one of Dracula's bitten children," Nightingale explained. "Wannabe vampires, mortals with a taste for blood, gather in these underground bars and bite each other's shoulders, mimicking an ancient vampire tradition, mocking it to the highest extent. They claim that blood fills them with lust, and this is not true for most vampires. Hn. Humans will never understand anything in the fullest sense. Their minds are always clouded with pathetic hopes and dreams, not realizing that what they dream will never come true, even if they take every step possible."

Dierdre cocked her eyebrow in response then smiled lazily as the waitress brought over there drinks. She delicatly picked up her glass and swished it around enjoing the boquet that arose from the glass.
She waited for the waitress to leave before saying, "So, would it be to brash of me to assume you yourself are a vampire?"
The word Vampire flowed off her tounge with a honey-ish ring. She almost seemed to taste the words as she said them, and she loved the taste of this word. She'd only met one or two other vampires in her life. Only a few other people like her.. who were doomed to live a really long time.
She smile shrank a little as she thought about this ruefully. What she wouldn't give to just live a normal lengthed life.

"I much prefer to call myself a submissive of the Allure," Nightingale whispered. "I submitted to a vampire's Kiss when I was in a state of deep depression as a human over a hundred years ago. What I wouldn't give to be human again!"
SHUT UP ABOUT VAMPIRES! her little voice yelled. The it pleaded. Nightingale, listen to me! Don't reveal so much of yourself! I don't want to have to pick up the pieces of your heart again, it hurt too much. Don't do this to yourself. It can only end badly.
"I shouldn't have said that," Nightingale said quickly, turning to the bar and sipping her drink. She was trembling slightly.

"Please, don't leave. I know how it feels to be alone. And I would give anything to have been human." Dierdre said it before she could stop herself.
She really didn't want to be alone tonight. And she really didn't want to get hurt, but being alone was worse. It would always be worse. Exspecially when you were lonely. "I won't matter that much when it comes to saying anything to anyone either. So don't worry about it."
