well yeah same does for the other nations plsu if she's noble blood then they're related any, all nobles are in some form.

like I said before sibiling rivilaries. If she were, say, his younger sister, she won't get access to the throne unless something happened to him. ninja

That goes way beyond sibling rivalries. Wait, since people discriminate women a lot, wouldn't like a nephew or something get the throne before her? And even if Zuko got fried, no one was expecting him to get banished until after he got fried.
