Well you two tell me what you want me to call the forums, and then when I make it, you can go ahead and post the explanation thread. ^^ You mean my suggestion about writing articles? I think what could be a good idea for a subforum would be to make it as a general 'Writing Help' place. There could be some sticked threads to which any articles/long helpful posts could be added - by mod approval, perhaps? - perhaps organised around themes such as Grammar and Writing Style Articles, Character Articles, Plot Articles, etc. The first post could have links to good articles elsewhere on the web, too. Then the rest of the forum could be a place for people to post random writing help questions. Like I needed to know quite a lot about burns for this scene I'm about to write, so I could make a thread and ask people for info. Or someone could make a thread asking questions about grammar, or about point of view, or about a character, or about the flight speed of an unladen swallow, or about... well, anything they needed to know.
I leave you in charge of that forum and anything you want to put on it.
If you want any input from me, let me know ^^ I think it sounds like a great idea, as I know a lot of people struggle with grammar, etc.
And yes, there are always random questions..like receintly, I was trying to work out how much a prostitute would charge XD

Any other general articles threads you think would be useful? A Misc. Articles thread, certainly. ... also, is it ok if I do this tomorrow? Essay of DOOM here.

I was thinking I might put up a thread where people can post random ideas for stories that they liked but won't get round to writing themselves and are therefore offering to other people to use. What do you think?

What do you think? Love the idea! Go for it. Bit like the Adopt-A-Plot thread that was mentioned before. Very useful idea. I shall enjoy dropping off my plotbunnies biggrin I want to get this essay done so I can go post about my rp char in the thread. I haven't had the chance to rp him for years and he's just been sitting there with all this backstory and things. The other character I had in the rp has her life pretty much sorted out, but he's just a big bundle of issues and I need to complete it.

Good luck with your essay ^^ I'm going to head off to bed now anyway, since I'm sooo tired.
I decided to have people in charge of monitoring two forums mainly, so I'm giving word games and fanfiction to chibi, writing help and advertising/searching to you, cyropi, and writing and challenges forums to LadyShi.
All it means is that you'll be watching over the threads in your two forums and making sure it's within TOS and everything. Plus the general running of them and what have you. I'll be watching over the guild as a whole ^^
