there is a part draft horse at my ranch named Harley. he is a retired grand prix jumper, his show name was "all heart". he is the sweetest boy ever! everyone who rides him falls in love with him, and we call him teddy bear.....he is soo cool, and love loves loves to jump!

Awwwwww he sounds sooooo pretty Piano, awwww I'm so glad to know that he's sweet along with people loving him, Teddy Bear? how cuuuuute, I'm glad he loves to Jump along with knowing about him being a Grand Prix Jumper, do you have pictures of him? 4laugh

*sigh* i kind of wish that I could ride a draft. they're so cute. But alas, I am a dressage rider in a barn full of warmbloods

My horse is a draft horse cross I really enjoy his good disposition which is generally an asset drafts have. Mind you fitting tack can be an issue.

I love drafts - gentle giants as I see them. There are a lot of drafts around this area, used as work horses.
I also see some in riding barns as school horses, and draft crosses in competition. My friend has a draft TB cross (or... non-pedigree warmblood) for hunter/jumpers. She's a gentle giant but ... she's acting up, and I'm pretty sure its how these people are treating her (I left that barn beause of how they treated horses and other people) She' not the prettiest looking cross but she's very affectionate.
